$.02 for ya Graham... Watch your time window, I'd focus on Nashvegas- Memphis is cool but about 3.5 hours drivetime west on I-40. I know nothing about it, except the riverfront is nice, Beale Street is there, and BBQ is good. I was born and raised in Nashville, currently it's seeing a renaissance time for culture/food/rock and roll. It's always been "Music City", narrowly lost to Cleveland OH for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame a few years back. I'd be happy to chaperone you around town for a couple of days- I moved to East TN back in 1990, so a chance to be a tourist in my hometown would be great fun! I used to park my 280Z in Elliston Place, had my mountain bike on the back of the car- then I'd ride from there downtown, back, and then out to Hillsboro Village on the bike... no better way to barhop! Now there are SO many new places, most on the East/North side of the Cumberland, which I'm familiar with too... it's like I know all the streets, but EVERYTHING'S changed... which is actually what's happened. Barker, Jeremy, maybe Tom B. could shed more light on this subject. In the meantime, start scanning through the Nashville Scene... http://www.nashvillescene.com/

Definitely Nashville over Memphis. Graceland and Beale, that's about it for Memphis (unless you consider Mud Island). There's the Peabody if you want to see ducks in a hotel lobby. Honestly, unless you are a die hard Elvis fan, I'd skip it. |

What!?!? No slushies!?!? Michael - Thank you so much. That sounds like a good plan, we'll talk more when things get a bit closer but I'd be honored to ride your V11 if things work out that way. C3 Central is the cabin it's always been? Brad - That would great, I'd really like that One thing I definitely want to do on this trip is see some night life and some live music, I'll have to check if any bands I know are playing in Nashville around that time. This is kinda derailing from the Glitch Badness thread so I'll start a separate thread. Not that long now, only about 10 weeks to Glitch Badness!!! |

Talked to David at Riders Hill today about doing EBR demos during Glitch Badness. He has an RX demo bike and said they would be spread too thin to do demos at TWoS but would be glad to do them at Riders Hill. While there we called his EBR rep, told him about the event and reminded him that Erik has been to Suches for March Badness. He said he would put it on his callendar.According to David.the rep has an SX demo and he would press him to bring whatever bikes and goodies he could come up with.I'll give an update when I get more info. |

Trying to talk the Mrs Hammer into going (although on a bagger). Are the cabins still available by the "airport"? She refuses to sleep in a tent. |

TWO cabins are pretty kewl- another good option would be Copperhead Lodge, not too far from Suches. Ask Vern about staying there- I've only visited and eaten there, plenty nice for just that. I'm planning to camp, BUT- dang if a warm bed and access to a hot tub might trump the campsite. Especially after a long day riding, and ESPECIALLY with the missus in tow. |

Copperhead is great. Everything about it is wonderful. Rooms, cabins, bar, food, parking, hosts, affordable. Only thing is, you got to get up early and be in contact with others at TWoS to not miss any of the fun there. |

When I booked my room in the lodge at TWoS, there were still rooms and cabins available. Gotta just leave a voicemail and Mary will eventually call you back. |

Skeenah Creek Campground is another good option, if space gets tight. Been used at Buelltoberfest in the past... |

Another good location- Vogel State Park. It's located on 129 near the north end of Wolfpen Gap Road. They have camping and cabins. Cabins are a bit pricey unless you're sharing. |

Hey Vern, why don't you stay at the lodge. That way I won't have to keep an eye on my firewood! Then again, if you bring some of the "spring water" in a mason jar I might let you steal a little! |

I've had good times in Suches, either in one of TWO's upstairs lodge cots, or camping, or at C3 Central, but the best experience is rustic camping! Provided there's plenty of campsite culinary fixin's, a jetboil for my coffee habit in the AM, lots of firewood, NO RAIN, temps not too cold, and a glass jar full of goodness to share with everyone! So many cool peeps riding cool bikes come and go at TWO, it really is the central point of goings-on. The only thing I'd REALLY benefit from would be access to a hot-tub to soak my aching bones after a day's riding... |

Well Greg, if you would buy enough firewood my little foray into making our fire bigger than yours would not have been a problem. I will not be tent camping this round, but I intend to visit the camp fires for a great time with great folks. My sources have gone. I can't even borrow the good stuff anymore. I can easily grab up a couple jars of the legal stuff though. |

Brad, Greg and Vern, I have us covered on the good stuff. I even have some heavily marinated cherry's. I have a solid and true source here in Arkansas. You still have to barter for his stuff. It's the real deal. See you guys at the campfires in March. |

The cabins look appealing. Is anyone interested in going halves on one? |

We'll be coming down in my pickup, so we'll haul a pile of firewood, campstove, coffee pot, cooking goodies etc (might even toss together a few meals if folks want). We're staying in one of the little cabins at TWO. |

Thumper, I might- look into the rates, and holler back. Giant bonus if a hot-tub is included! Still trying to envision how to pack the Triumph for camping... I could ride the old Beemer and carry everything pretty easily- got a big milk crate lashed to the back to carry junk already! |

Once again, this offer stands: If anybody needs bulky items carted up to the campsite of their choice, I will be bringing my full size cargo van. You can reimburse me when I deliver the goods, just post up what you need. |

Ok so I may be able to attend this event. My wife informed me that she has the week off of the gathering. Is there anything local to keep little kids entertained? I have a 5 & 7 year old. |

Damnut... FIDDY'S!!!! Otherwise, I've no experience keeping the attention of kiddies that age... that would be a great question to shoot the proprietors of TWoS! There are lots of great hiking/fishing spots, a little research is in order. |

Anyone interesting in spearheading a t-shirt order??? We need a design (have lots of ideas that have been tossed out) and someone to get shirts ordered. I'll do what I can to help. I will distribute shirts from the porch of TWO or the back of my Suburban once in Suches. This will free you up to ride Kristi |

Maybe someone could Photoshop-merge an image of the "Borg" mothership with Glitch's head... "Glitch Badness 2015- You Will Be Assimilated" "All Your Curve Are Belong To Glitch" "Glitch Badness 2015- Insane In Da Membrane" (I'm better at producing wacky ideas- others here do better at the physical/"real" work of ordering...) |

At this point in time I'm looking to split costs for a cabin rental at TWoS- I'd certainly be interested in going off-site if there would be a hot-tub involved (anticipating the achy skeleton/back/knees after riding like we normally do!)- The more I think about it, my travel plans will disallow carrying all I'd need to tent-camp. Holla! |
