Going to take a little coin to take it home.

I hope it goes to a good home but, at that price it won't be mine...

I believe it's over priced at US $232,433.00; but a survivor 1952 Vincent C Rapide V-Twin Sold for $132,500 at Mecum's auction last month... so maybe not?

Overpriced? that's the current bid Teeps, which doesn't even meet reserve. "buy it now" price is a cool round one million dollars!
Hard for me to see its history justifying that much of a price though.

I'll bet $1 George Barber has his hairy eyeball on it...

Sometimes a particular historical item does justify what looks to be a wildly inflated $$$ amount... compared to the Peter Fonda chopper,
what happened in history on this Duck is much more significant.

At first I wondered where the "bio" was for this bike, dove in a little further, and found the written pages.

IIRC it wasn't too long ago that I read a commemorative piece about this bike, and one or several modern-day replicas recently built... not gonna dredge through my boxes of old magazines to find it though.

I DO remember really enjoying those articles.

If Barber buys it, at least we'll be able to see it, as opposed to other typical scenarios.

Sounds like a practical grocery getter.
Does it come with saddle bags and GPS mount?
