So it's been a while since I've been a regular around here... Much has changed in my life and everything seems to be moving in a good direction, doing what makes me happy My wheels, always a really big part of my life, have changed too - I still have my beloved X1W, in need of a little TLC but running strong. The 1125R and I never really got on and eventually last year I traded water-cooled missle for something completely different, an '08 Triumph Bonneville which is now my commuter cafe racer. Wishlist includes a Speed Triple or even an older literbike like an older R1. I still have my '70 Valiant Hardtop (like a Dodge Dart) but thinking of selling it as it gets driven rarely. My daily cage is a Jeep Wrangler which I love, I've always wanted a soft-top and the weather here is great for it. I'm getting more and more into mountain bikes too, I have three at the moment and have started my own little part time company building bikes. I'll post some pics later. So what are you riding/driving these days? Pics would be cool too |

Still have my 2001 Subaru Outback L.L. Bean edition. She only has 84,000 miles on the odometer because she only gets driven in the worst weather. Also still have my 1999 BMW K1200LT, the primary reason the Subaru only has 84,000 miles; the K1200LT just went in for its 186,000 mile service (it goes in every 6,000 miles). And, of course, the newest addition to the garage is my 2013 BMW C650GT. That one is still a baby with only a shade over 13,000 miles on it. |

I just picked up this GMC Sonoma.
It's getting a lift and some real truck tires as soon as the weather is good enough to work without tools freezing in my hand. Too cold, snowy, and icy for bikes. |

Still on the '96 S1 with close to 60k mi on the clock. It's been a 13 year commuter and occasional trip and track day bike. I've been trying to decide on something to replace it with as a primary transportation bike for several years, but have yet to come up with anything solid. I intend to keep it as a secondary/backup. |

The daily cage is a 2009 Toyota Rav4. It has 140,000 miles on it. I'll replace it sometime after it reaches 200,000 miles. Right now it runs fine. My 2 wheel ride is the 2009 XB12XT that I bought from Slowride. I still love this bike as much as the day I picked it up. It has almost 21,000 miles on it now. Truth be told though, I'm considering selling it so I can afford a new Victory Cross Country. I don't lean over much any more and a touring bike really suits my needs and riding style better. I also have the remains of the 2009 Suzuki GS500F my son wrecked. The plan is to someday put it back together as a rat bike and use it as a commuter when gas gets expensive again. Forward of the steering head it's wiped but behind that point its in ok shape (except for the plastics).

Going to be nine years with my '06 Uly this spring. Seems to be stuck at 62,000 + miles. No intentions to sell it. I even rode it last week. My Uly still feels new to me, it has a long way to go to be with me as long as my Jeep CJ that is going on 18 years. My wife says I trade vehicles around more often than I change sox, but these two have stuck. Like it has been said, who would buy a 60,000 mile bike, and give me enough dollars to cover it's value to me? Not gonna happen, and I don't care. Playing around with my Vette and lately a Motorhome, getting around in a '99 Tahoe 2dr 4x4 on it's first couple hundred miles since I installed a new crank shaft kit and intake gaskets.

The Guzzi has it's own unique character and Guzzi owners are pretty cool,a lot like Buell owners. It handles pretty good too,not as good as the Buell, but good for a 58.6" wheelbase. |
