Looks like 50% rain after 1pm around Milwaukee. Anything brewing before noon around East Troy other than storms? I'll be riding over towards Madison to look at a car. DAve |

Sorry, no inside info is available for dissemination. Met a lot of great people this year. Thank you to all for the most enjoyable HC I've been to in years. The Two_Seasons lead pouring rain twisty road run today was incredible. Gus's and Roma's eat to ride, ride to eat cruises were gastronomical extravaganzas with a generous side course of oratory delicacies. Many thanks to Erik for the parking lot history lesson. Toleration awards for patience and long suffering on the part of all my Buell Brethren. We all just got along. 360 days to HC2016 |

Yep yep the two seasons twisty bike wash was some of the best riding I've done in that half of the state, the oak corridor was splendid and I got to test my rain gear... I've only got 1 regret about spending the last 2 days with the great bunch of goofballs that were there, Why the f$#! was this my first year?!!! I will mark the date down for next year and many more! and anybody within 200 miles is mad not to make this little happening a priority. And oh my gosh was the talk with the great man whose name adornes the magnificent mechanical contrivances we love fascinating! We covered half of Courts next book in 30 min! And it won't surprise anybody who knows him that he took a substantial amount of time out of his hectic day in these trying times to share what he could with the assembled group of riff raff. |

Now it's my turn. Doris' just posted to Ourdee's thread above. Every year this "task" gets better. You could tell that we as Buellers are currently bummed out by the state of affairs at EBR but, like the others, I too believe there is something that will surprise us in the near future. My best times Buelling is when I'm with you guys. Yesterday Tod, Ourdee and I did indeed take our bikes through the bikewash going to East Troy, destination Gus's. We got soaked to the bone. When Tod pulled up next to me at a stop sign, I could barely see Tod's face through the fog in his helmet. We were going through the corners where we could just barely make out the entry let alone the exit of each. Scary...yeah a little. I swear by my Pirelli's. Amazing grip when the going gets tough. Although the Dunlops are a close second Gus's was great as usual but the company was even better. And yes, we missed you Matt!!!!! Wishing all of you a great riding season and hoping for great news coming out of Mukwonago/East Troy soon. |

I looked at your front tire before we headed out and knew I had more tread on the Rosso IIs. As long as you weren't sliding I knew I just had to stay smooth. I kept telling myself, "Your tires still have 80% of their traction in the rain". I don't know if it is true, but it kept me calm. Sure was fun watching the rooster tails you two were kicking up. |

Sorry I couldn't make it. The pinion bearing decided it didn't want to go any farther than Wis. dells. I got back to my shop on Thurs. at 4 PM with a $1200.00 tow bill. By Sat. morning I had a new rear end installed. How ever, I was hauling the xb back home one of the straps let go and the bike smashed the top of my box and bent the tonneau cover rail. To say I had a bad couple of days is an understatement. See you all next year, hopefully Matt |

I'm late to the after-party, but wanted to chime in. I got wet on the way there Tuesday while standing on the Chicago "Expressway", got cold and wet at Road America, and slightly chilled on the ride back Monday, but it beat the hell out of working! It was great seeing everyone and meeting newbies. Chatting with Erik at the parking lot was an unexpected kick, but best described as "uncomfortable". What the hell do you say in that situation? I think we done good. I know we did our civic duty introducing some newer attendees to the South Park "F Word" episode 1312 (Sorry, Brankin!) and helped Gus's meet their sales goals more than once. Roma's for dinner satisfied my pasta urges on Thursday. The Screamer Garage Night was great! Roger has quite the setup and knowledge to attend to any repair issues. Thanks for the hospitality. Naturally, the Two Seasons Breakfast was full-filling. Doris made sure we didn't leave light on our feet. She's a keeper, Steve. Good stuff and good company. Hooking up with "the gang" of Coolice, Ourdee, Tod662, 1313, DaleG, Smoke, GoBadgers, Screamer, Odd, 99BuellX1, Jkgonzo and many I'll unintentionally forget to include in East Troy and Road America has become an annual pleasure trip for me and is very therapeutic. Shutting off the work phone helped and is highly recommended. Sorry about your luck, Matt. Ourdee was only a LITTLE nervous about the "fine" weather and access to power at the campgrounds when he learned of your episode. We'll catch you next time, if not sooner. Ditto to all in that regard. I had a great time and plan to keep trying to find a way AROUND Chicago to meet up with you folks. Thanks for another great, extended weekend.
