DesertDan Yes, highway speeds suck the battery down in a hurry. If you keep it less than 65, i.e. urban commuting situations, I think you can get over 100 miles per charge easy. I have not had a chance to try this yet. Sustained highway speeds over 65 mph will only get you around 65 miles on a charge on my 11.4kWh pack. However you can add a "power tank" that gives you about another 20 miles, and the 2015's have increased capacity standard the battery packs went from 11.4 to 12.5 kWh. If you use it as a 35 mile each way commuter that you charge at home overnight it will perform exceptionally. If you can charge at work you can double this range. If you try to go cross country you can do it but you would be limited by range, charging station locations and charging speed unless you spend the money on faster chargers. |

But when you roll on the throttle and you feel the acceleration and how everything happens NOW, you forget about all that. What's Behind Me, It's Not Important.... (Message edited by josequinones on January 11, 2015) |

Lemonchili , I wasn't sure I would like the 29" wheels but riding back to back with a Friend on a Giant Reign 26" wheels we both agreed hands down the 29er rolled so much better over things, a little harder to get going though , now if I can just get the crane creek double barrel shock I will be totally happy |
