Glitch has been wanting to do a post for a couple of days now. He's been concerned that people would think he was being rude for not commenting or responding.
Word by word, sentence by sentence, he dictated this to me to post on his behalf. These are HIS words and feelings.
"I want to thank the people. The support is too touching. I don't deserve it."
Everyone - listen up! Your prayers, thoughts, good mojo, and good vibes are needed! Dave/Glitch is in the hospital and it looks like we're going to be here for awhile.
Glitch, today:
quote:
"I want to thank the people. The support is too touching. I don't deserve it."
Several of us are here because of the generous genuine good person Glitch is. His efforts to give of himself to this community will probably continue to come back to haunt him for a long time to come. Live with it buddy!
Personally I cannot wait to see pictures of you and Charlie out smokin' it on those fifties! Let me know if you need training wheels to get started.....we will make something happen for you!
I'm posting this in all the "Glitch" threads to make sure it reaches everyone. :-)
He's doing his best to reach out and "talk" to the folks who have contributed in so many ways with prayers and good mojo. He's been so touched by the love and support and wants to make contact to let everyone know he's still kickin' and determined!
He gets frustrated because it takes him so long to make even the simplest little post. But, I remind him that it's something that he couldn't do even last week. "Everyday a little better" is what I keep telling him.
Each night, we go through Facebook and all the pages here and I read the comments to him. Everyday, he opens all the cards and packages that have arrived. Collectively, everything is keeping his spirits up and helping to push him forward.
>>>He gets frustrated because it takes him so long to make even the simplest little post.
Yeah. . . . well wait until . . . like some of us . . .he reaches his "sunset years" . . . you'd be amazed at the simple things that take a long time!
Tell him to take it easy . .take his time and focus . . . we've been here for 20 years . . . we're patient, with you and stick to our "no Badwebber left behind" credo. . . .
