I'm putting up for auction this Remington Model 760 Gamemaster in 30.06 caliber. It comes with Weaver scope mounts, a Leupold 4X scope, 3 round magazine and quick release sling mounts. Sorry no sling. It is a deluxe grade and according to the Remington Society this checkering pattern was used from 1966 to 1979. I don't know the exact year of the gun. Anyone with a serial number registry could e-mail the info and I'll post it to the auction. I am the second owner of the gun. I purchased it from a friend about ten years ago who was going through divorce and relocation. It was used 20+ years consecutively as his primary deer hunting rifle. It does show wear with minor scratches and places where the bluing has been rubbed thin. The action works great. I fired three rounds through the open sights and hit near the bullseye all three times. It has since been taking space in the safe. I will pay the $25.00 FFL fee and shipping to the winning bidder.
