Our healthcare workers and EMTs could get in short supply if they are quarantined every time they are treating or transporting a patient. Yeah, but EMT's and medical workers can treat a LOT of people during those 21 days. A hot zone is a hot zone. It gets filled with the sick...and the caregivers. There is ZERO reason for the entire country to become a hot zone...ESPECIALLY because there is so little understanding of this virus at this point. Err on the side of caution, not that of "personal liberty". Not when potentially large numbers of the population could be at risk. I'm not saying declare martial law...just...use some common sense. I know. Common sense, common courtesy...neither is common anymore...but we can try. |

"You know one where everybody has access to a doctor, not just a privileged few. " You need to get better information sources. A large majority of US residents had medical insurance before Obamacare was inflicted on us with lies and backroom deals. The % of uninsured people is probably not much different now and as stated above, hospital ERs are required to treat everyone who shows up. The Privileged Few are the politicians who get Cadillac plans instead of Obamacare (that the Regime has delayed several times because it is so bad.) |

Tell Mitt Romney to drop them food by parachute, then they won't have to eat bats. Then it could be safer. |

Complete ignorance of our healthcare system except what he reads in papers, trusts Obama, ( ignorant extreme ) and probably believes there were no poison gas shells in Iraq. At least he rides. That implies more hand eye coordination than his lack of conversational skill implies. All he needs now is to believe Putin and Obama at the same time. I will rephrase my question. What is your opinion on limiting travel from plague infested countries? (Message edited by aesquire on October 29, 2014) |

What about that Obama is trying to establish better healthcare and boofheads keep shouting him down ? You know one where everybody has access to a doctor, not just a privileged few. Predictably, and yes, this was predicted, BOdontCare is creating exactly the opposite of what you describe. Over 214,000 Doctors Opt Out of Obamacare Exchanges |

"keep shouting him down" No one on the right shouts down anyone. Shouting down a speaker is a tactic of the left. The right has better manners. |

"You know one where everybody has access to a doctor, not just a privileged few." A privileged few? How many people had insurance? How many didn't? Compare your answers with post ACA figures, and let us know how successful this has been. |

"What if you had an elevated temperature! Is that enough for admission?" With or without insurance you will receive emergency care if you need it. With or without insurance, if your visit doesn't require admittance then you wont be admitted. |

"You know one where everybody has access to a doctor, not just a privileged few." ACA doesn't give free health care to everyone or anyone, it just penalizes you if you decide not carry insurance. If you can't afford the premiums then I doubt a nominal savings (that's a stretch...) would change the calculus much. It's not a matter of access to a doctor but more of who is going to pay the tab. That who is you whether you have exchange insurance, private insurance, or pay out of pocket. |

It is ironic that the great personal liberties we are afforded in this country will ultimately be our downfall. |

Ebola is one of those things where every ignoramus and his brother is an expert. It does not matter one whit what I think about anything. I call a spade a spade, and out of focus out of focus. Sorry if I hurt one of your feelings. |

No, you refuse to answer questions, and make assertions not backed up by facts or any real knowledge. It does not matter one whit what I think about anything. Perhaps not, but if you are a real human being, with your own unique point of view, you may actually be able to teach me something. For all I know you're a freaking genius in some field I know little about. You are right that there are a lot of "experts" out there who know nothing. I currently rate our President as one of those. We got a real piece of work here who has had rich people spend millions of dollars to keep his past secret. Like his grades in school, or who paid for it, or why he was in Pakistan as a college party animal. I'm sure you have real winner politicians where you live too. I asked a simple question, but it may have been too broad in scope. Let's simplify it. You live where, so far as I know, you don't have Ebola spreading. What is your opinion on restricting travel from plague countries to your own? |

(CNN) -- In the fight against Ebola, Australia has said: No thanks. Immigration Minister Scott Morrison announced "strong controls" on arrivals from West African countries affected by cases of the deadly disease. Telling Australia's parliament during a question time session Monday that his ministry was currently "not processing any application from these (Ebola) affected countries," he said that the government was also suspending its humanitarian program.} |

Au.suspending its humanitarian program That's because people are fleeing these areas in their droves seeking refugee status in Au.(can't blame them for that) Impossible to monitor ebola fast enough to allow them into the community. Too dangerous to allow them in. |

You have so far failed to convince me you have anything constructive to say. Happy to discuss, debate, and argue with respect nearly any subject. Happy to agree with people, and can even be convinced I was wrong on a subject, given facts and logic on the part of another. Personal insults are not useful. I am, however going to personally insult Obama. It's now clear that power is more important to him than children's lives. I'm increasingly convinced he is mentally ill and other humans don't really exist for him. He controls a nuclear stockpile. He supports rapists. May God have Mercy on the planet. http://dailycaller.com/2014/10/31/obamas-border-po licy-fueled-epidemic-evidence-shows/ We now KNOW that the White House planned to import thousands of illegal voters and their children ( they were NOT "unaccompanied" ) and scatter them into every state, Illegally, in secret, for criminal purpose. That this would lead to a plague was predictable. That this regime does not care who dies is observable fact. |

I wonder what viruses Italians and Irish brought with them when they immigrated by the thousands. How about the Japanese. Are they responsible for the Asian Flu? Who were the presidents when all this immigration took place? Why weren't they convicted of criminal activity? You're a sick sick person. |
