...no thanks to our pResident. The Marine perseveres through adversity, time and again. Thanks to our armed service men and women, for all that they do! |

I don't mean to be the devil's advocate.... but, were the news articles, which claimed that Tahmooressi had used this port of entry multiple times before, incorrect? It seems to me, that if this guy had been to Mexico before, he should have known the territory, he should have known the drill. Upon supposedly realizing he had missed the exit, he should have pulled over instead of going forward... This story seemed nefarious to me, not from the very beginning, but probably from the second news report I heard. And I source all my news from Fox and Drudge. Had the roles been reversed, and a Mexican been in a similar situation trying to cross into the US, I doubt many Americans would champion his case. |

There were a couple of the news agencies that actually attempted to trace his steps. It seems, based solely on the reports I heard, that his story was plausible and the route was sort of a "once you pass a certain point there is no turning around". His experience and knowledge are, I am guessing, what prompted him to immediately notify Mexican authorities that he had weapons in the vehicle. The fact that this guy was not returned to the border, and turned over to the custody of American border agents is unbelievable. |

I don't think you could be more wrong, Torquehd. Had the roles been reversed, the US authorities would have fallen all over themselves getting the Mexican guy several lawyers, a driver's license and free college tuition. Any objections to this would be shouted down with accusations of racism. Anyway, God bless the USMC. |

Another OORAH and very glad one of the few & proud are back with us. Nothing Obama has done has been good for this country. Period! How ironic that Tahmooressi is released three days before an election. I wonder just how much Obama paid Mexico to get that done, but whatever, something should have been done long ago. It was all politics and this administration is the most corrupt I have ever seen in my life and I'm not a newbee by any means. Bob |

And the thing that pisses me off to no end is WAY UP IN the far reaches of Northern Michigan, Mexicans wander around going poop all over the place and FAIL to wash their hands! WHY can't they all be sent back to where they came from and leave us alone! I am tired of seeing Migrant head Start school buses running around the county picking up migrant children. WHY? There is a county millage (with some really murky and confusing language) asking for a "renewal" for a millage to pay for indigent health care on the ballot Tuesday. Why for the love of God do we have to vote on a millage renewal that does not expire until 2016? For indigent health care? Doesn't Obozo care pay for indigent health care? What is the millage for? paying the fine for being indigent? I have a feeling that it is for paying for hapless migrants needing health care... |
