Looks like someone finally, (Dana Brown from the same family), is carrying on Bruce Browns legacy with a new film coming to theaters Nov.7th. Hope its as good as the first two and his Endless summer film about surfing around the world. Be sure to watch the trailer. Looks pretty good and just when some of us are moderating our riding for the freezy skid stuff coming. Link here: "www.onanysundayfilm.com/" Enjoy all.

Woo! Hoo! Finally a relevant film worth going to a theater to see! Bonus I won't have to bribe someone to take over my duty post to go see it, like the first one...
I'm now a Red Bull fan, that's pure brilliance for them to handle the production of this- for a trailer, that looked super cool! I just kept waiting to hear/see Erik in there somewhere...
Now I gotta hope my little Podunk town has SOME theater with the sense to show this film...
Your definitely not being an ass Steve and I for one appreciate your honest review. You are right my friend about Bruce Brown setting the bar high with the original. Not even his own sequel OAS 2 could quite match the original for grass roots motorcycling. But its a different riding world now also as it is in most sports.
I got on Fandango looking for showings in local theaters and decided to check out some reviews. I was not surprised that the typical movie critic just didn't get it. My favorite was from some NY Post hack named Farran Smith Nehme. He/she/it had this to say: "There is only late, glancing acknowledgment that most motorcycles run on fossil fuels, cause noise pollution, and erode the soil on those scenic rides through our nation’s wilderness." What a jack-ass. Firstly, on the whole, motorcycles use less fuel than autos (Farran didn't mention how he/she/it got to work that day). Noise can be addressed; most riders are not the problem, and finally, YOU CAN'T RIDE A MOTORCYCLE IN A WILDERNESS AREA (or for that matter, any vehicle - including bicycles).

It wouldn't surprise me, if that so called critic, didn't even view the film. Crap reporting like that is why I haven't watched 60 Minutes since the '70s. They did a real hatchet job on desert riding in the Mojave north of Landcaster, Ca. I was so pissed, I couldn't see straight.
We've been enjoying the late afternoon/early evenings at the house here lately, plus I've just purchased a nice chiminea for the back deck- hence I've put off going to the movies just yet. Although now I've gotta go see "Interstellar" now too, which might take precedence over "OAS2"...
Anyone else here have a chance to go see this flick? I'm trying to determine whether to just wait and stream it to the home TV or go see it at the theater.
