Is anybody taking a collection for a badweb wreath? Or has the family specified donations to a favourite charity or something? |

Good idea Mr. G...I'm in for a donation. |

I would be willing to donate. He was a really good guy. I remember him especially taking everybody out to the farm during Homecoming 2003 and talking about the early days. |

I can't help very much I'm afraid, I'm away at work for a week from tomorrow, Then straight off to UK for my Dad's funeral. He went last Friday, finally at peace and rejoining Mum. So it's not a cause for sadness more celebration. |

Innes- Sorry to hear about your dad. It killed me when my dad died, but when my mom followed a few years later, it was just like you say. RIP. I never met Mr. Duga, but I'd be willing to chip in for flowers or donation if someone sets something up. |

Mr. G, sorry about your Dad too. We've got the funeral flowers covered. I'll have my wife get it set up tomorrow with the BadWeb (assumption taken) logo prominently displayed and reading "Thanks Henry for being #1 for Erik and us in the BadWeb community of Buell riders. We'll miss you." My wife will pick up the flowers on Monday morning and deliver them to Schmidt & Bartelt in Wauwatosa. If you want to donate for the flowers, you can catch up with us next homecoming when you come over for our Friday breakfast. Steve |

Henry was golden. The face of Buell Racing for so many years. He got us parts when we needed them, and help when we needed it. Always kind and generous with his time. We thought he'd always be there. Gosh I'll miss him. |

Flowers will be ready Monday am for my wife to pick up and transport to Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Wauwatosa. I took the liberty of using the BadWeb logo, printed it out and Doris took that using spray adhesive and applied it to a thick piece of cardboard. Looks great! The sympathy card will read "Henry will be missed deeply in the Buell community! From his BadWeb friends around the world." |

I shipped a piston to the funeral home instead of a card. Engraved it to Henry with a brief "thank you"... with the following message enclosed in a letter: To all Henry’s family and friends, I deeply regret not being able to be among you all to share memories and smiles at the recollections of such a very special man. I had hoped to take Henry to dinner again on my next trip to Wisconsin after my FINAL race in 2 weeks when at age 61, I hang up my spurs but it seems that God had other plans. I had saved the pistons from the engine that I rode to my first ever podium in 2005 and had planned to do SOMETHING – and now I know the best use possible for one of them… so instead of a card, please find as a gift the piston that I raced to my first ever podium at Willow Springs with Henry’s patient and unfailing support (I’ll keep the other one – we can share). Henry, you’ll always be remembered – and I’ll be ever grateful for the times we’d shared. I’ll toast to your memory after my last race on the 16th. Thanks to ALL of your friends for being my friends too. Sincerely, Steve Slaughter (signed) Buell 604 WSMC MotoWestGP WERA West FUSA |

Steve, Henry had a large gathering of family and friends there. They even added chairs at the end before the cemetery service. Henry touched many as Erik's ambassador for many years across the country and world. Yes we all will miss him......my Wednesday dinner friend for the past several years, thanks for the memories. |

Wow, Slaughter- did you happen to take pictures of this piston? Flowers are one thing, but that's gotta be the best tribute/gift of all. I'd LOVE to take a look at that thing. Good on ya, brother. |

Didn't get a pic of the piston. It was spur of the moment. Rushed home at lunch. Pulled piston off the C-rod and then back to work. Engraved the piston with a Dremel engraving tool and put in box, RAN to UPS for shipping to make it in time Monday. No planning. |
