Excellent games all around, really. I like the match-ups, and the next round will also keep me watching: probably Orioles v Tigers, and Giants v too-early-to-tell Dodgers or Cards. It's a great game. |

I ended up watching the Giants-Nationals on the tv & Cards-Dodgers on the laptop at the same time. Nationals are done I reckon. Cards & Dodgers go back to Busch & homefield advantage. I like KC for the AL, Orioles have been inconsistent down the stretch. |

Go Padres!.....I mean, go Giants! This playoff season is really exciting. I am rooting for the Angels but KC's perseverance is making for great baseball. Either team will be formidable against the Giants. |

Without the Yankees, is anybody watching? |

I like KC for the AL, Orioles have been inconsistent down the stretch. True, however, the Orioles had already clinched their division on Sept. 16 while KC didn't close the deal until Set 26. During those ten days the Orioles were resting various players and trying out others. As with any sport one never knows who is ultimately going to prevail but if the spanking the Orioles have given the Tigers thus far is any indication they have as good a chance as anyone. |

Bye bye Detroit. Probably more people watching because no Yankees involved. |

New York Yankees, the Manchester United of baseball. Having similar seasons this year too. Losers. |

Watching the '85 Series that Channel 4 showed live in the UK. Ozzie Smith being acrobatic, Vince Coleman stealing bases, Jack Clark slugging, Willie McGee's ears, etc, I was hooked, been a fan ever since. |

Well there you go. I am rooting for the American League - Baltimore or KC. It was that way ever since the Pirates got knocked out. |

KC worried me the last month of the season, they just weren't playing like champions. So far in the post season they look like they want to win. |

I have the secret to making baseball exciting. Watch it on 16x speed on the DVR. Keep an eye on the score and rewind when you see the score change. Watch that half inning and start fast forwarding again. The other technique is to just 300x it to the 7th inning. These games take so long it's pretty ridiculous. |

It's not just about runs, I enjoy watching the defensive plays too. Anyway, KC are through, swept the Orioles, to the surprise of most. |

Well that's it til next year. Cards just couldn't get it done. I can't really say the Giants played that much better but they made fewer mistakes, & it's the Ws that count. Having watched the Royals performance I'm liking them for the whole thing. |

Enjoying the world series, good games so far. Bad Cards news today, Oscar Taveras killed in a car crash in the Dominican Republic. |
