Sounds like the kind of news I got when I was told I'm Crohn's symptom free for the first time in years. It feels like there's nothing you can't do. Crusty, that's truly great news and I sorry I didn't get to hear it in person when I was in Massachusetts Friday.
I'm kinda thinking about hitting Luma's Muffin and Mug in North Adams on the way . . . . . I did the Molly Stark By-Way the other day and the entire area is awesome.
Everybody's busy this weekend, eh? Well, I remember that at the first Dinosaur meet in in Harlem, it was Froggy, Court, Terri and me. This time, it looks like it'll be a small group again. That's cool! I bet we have some really good conversation and a really good meal. Of course, if more folks show it, that'll be cool, too! It's a win/win kind of deal. Aw, hell; right now, Life itself looks like a Win/Win kind of deal!
That is FANTASTIC news John!!! I'm very happy that you have a clean bill of health, you deserve it!
I *may* be in for this ride. My wife is away on business until Friday so I'll check when I speak to her later. I'll see if I can "sneak" away on Saturday, I should be able to. I'm an XL and if I can get the wife to join, she's an XS.
Crusty, would you like to meet up and ride together if I go?

Well it looks like I'm in.
I didn't know what my weekend would look like since today is my wedding anniversary and my wife is away on business till Friday. I was figuring that we would go out for dinner this weekend but wasn't sure what night we would be going, she opted for Friday night. Told me she wanted to spend Saturday with the kids at the local carnival so "go have fun" she said.

Jim; Come up to Route 2, go west to Exit 30 (Merriam Ave) At the end of the ramp, there is a busy Mobil station (it has a Dunkin Donuts in it). I'll meet you there at 9:00.
It freakin' poured all the way home. Jim (Damnut) and I took Rt.2 as far as Williamstown, MA, then we decided to drop the pre-planned route and just book it for home. After we split up, I didn't stop until I was home. As soon as I got in the house, I took a shower that was as hot as I could stand it. The food, company and conversation were as good as they always are (which is to say excellent) when Badwebbers get together at the Dinosaur; that made the miserable ride home worth it. Jim; How was your ride after we split up?
That was as crappy of a ride home as I have ever had. It freakin poured all the way to my house. I rolled into my garage at about 7 or so and I'm still trying to dry out. LOL
As soon as I got home I also took the hottest shower as I could take. I was so cold.
But all in all it was worth it to celebrate your cancer free diagnosis!
John, Just getting back on BWB after a stretch of way to much to do and no time. I'm VERY happy to hear your latest results. I've thought of your trials and tribulations quite a bit since we all hear the news. There but for the Grace Of God go all of us.
This was about the best outcome one could have hoped for. Wish I was closer, I would have joined the celebration.
