What are you using to seal the rubber boot for the gas filler bezel on X1/tube frame Buells?
I have Threebond 1104, Permatex Hylomar,Permatex Form-A-Gasket , blue\red\black Silicone sealer and Elmer's glue.
I kinda think that Elmer's glue is out....

I kinda think that Elmer's glue is out....

Elmer's glue is exactly what you use if you used glue at all!

lightly pressure test if removed with compressed air and soapy water.

I loosened mine to drain water from the tank and refitted with no problems.
