Is there nothing bacon can't do? Wonder why they didn't make it a bit more comfortable, since they're crossing the country on it. |

Awesome. Ironically funny too. Green cred with maximum annoyance for the PETA. Types. Cafe bacon........... love it. |

Wonder why they didn't make it a bit more comfortable, since they're crossing the country on it. Makes sense to me. Trying to ride too far on a single meal could lead to coronary problems. |

It's a classic case of form over function. I like that style more than the chopper (Easy Rider) look. But when I built a GS750b cafe bike I ended up with superbike bars for comfort. After all that work getting the clip ons to work. |

Next, a bacon-powered H-D so it smells authentic! |

I'll never think of the term HogŪ the same way, ever again. Potential bacon-powered models: The Fatback, Ultra Applewood Classic, and Sizzlean. |

...so, it's a biodiesel-powered motorcycle? Go to a diesel forum...folks have been doing bio conversions for decades. It's finally hitting motorcycles now that 2 wheel diesels are starting to pop up. Not that I dislike it - my two main cages are a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel, and a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee diesel. The Ram nets 20 mpg easy with its 6 speed stick and 3.55 gears; the Jeep, still new and not yet broken in, is giving me nearly 30 on my mountain commute to work and averaged 34 from MD to FL and back on the highway. I'm all about diesel efficiency! |

Just watch. Diesels will become more popular, fuel tax revenues will decline due to the change, and the tax man will step in to "Level the playing-field." Or impose some kind of Eco tax. Don't believe me? Check European history on the subject. |

Oh, I have no doubt. Efficient (both MPG and VE), torquey, sturdy for long service life, and now they don't smoke or rattle or stink... Diesel is coming of age. And us stupid Americans are finally figuring it out! |

They're already starting to whine about it. Some are proposing a tax per mile driven, so it matters not what kind of fuel economy your vehicle achieves. |
