TN narrowly missed getting open carry passed.
CCW isn't hard to get.
CLEO sign-off isn't too difficult either.
I decided to go NFA trust so that not only I could but anyone I name as trustees could use the NFA items.
If your laws are restrictive,it's up to you to fight them. Attack the political proponents. Get them replaced.

These morons are doing a stupid "die-in" in Boston for first night.
I have plans to meet up with family in town and do not look forward to being held up.
If I was going in alone, it wouldn't be a big deal to me. Problem is I was chosen to drive my twins.
God help any of them if they try any of that beating on the hood of my truck crap I have seen on TV in other demonstrations.
I honestly wish I could just stay home with my monkeys. |

I dunno.... this administration's support for abortion through the 500th trimester might backfire on them.
Planned parenthood can certainly consider themselves a success in following their founder's program. |

To clarify... When I said "I don't know if the CCW class requirement being lowered is a good thing though..." I meant that I don't think this should have been lowered, though the curriculum can't take the amount of time that was required by the state (8 or 10 hours), plus 2 hours of range time. With something as important as CCW and the potential to go horribly wrong, coupled with the leftist's demonizing of guns and CCW, more education for the CCW permit holder is a good thing.
If anything, I think it should have been raised. There were people at the class I went to that had never held a gun. Hell, a couple took the class together and didn't even bring a gun! (the NRA pistol class would have been better for them.) They were safe, but not proficient on the range. I seem to recall that most of the class was gun safety and the basics when it comes to gun function, etc.
I can't really remember much of my class being helpful other than being what to do when interacting with the police (the class was at a police station and run by several officers). |

so a funny story about planned parenthood....
Being newly married, I knew nothing about pregnancy. After getting 2 lines on the EPT, my bride told me she wanted to go to planned parenthood to get confirmation. I said something along the lines of, "I thought that was only for abortions".
Anyway, we walk into planned parenthood in Olympia Washington. The very first picture I see hanging on the wall is of two females (one is very butch looking) holding hands and smiling at eachother, their faces so close they were practically kissing.
WTF do two gay girls have to do with pregnancy or parenthood? Is this some kind of brainwashing to teach the kids who wander into these clinics that homosexuality is capable of reproduction, and thus has some need for a parenting agency? Needless to say, the office did absolutely nothing for us, and we started seeing a regular doctor after that.
That picture, in that setting, just said "we're so f'ing liberal!" to me. |

A conversation is a good idea. It's not what we're getting, we have diatribes.
More police shot. Triple the number of "ambush" murders of police this year.
The "hands up" people are using a lie. If I didn't know better, based on that fact alone I would guess they were neo-commie leftists who profit from disorder to push their version of a police state. That's exactly who they are, professional protesters, community organizers ( aka.....) union thugs, race hustlers, leaders of the slavery party...... and the Cloward Piven/Alinsky school of destroy from within to conquer marches on.
Some even here have unwittingly bought into the idea that we should pull the police out of the high crime areas because the people there hate the police. That's a lie the professional agitators are selling. The vast number of real citizens want more policing.
I heard today that the shill for the "police bureaucracy" (not the cops, the politicians, Chiefs, Sheriffs, ) that the problem was anti-government sentiment.
That's a lie. ( just like the lie that actual police are for bad gun laws ) it's not anti-government, It's anti rule of law not men. Anti-aristocracy.

I'm not sure if the people who toss around the term "anti-government" understand the meaning of that phrase. It's been used against people like Cliven Bundy (the NV rancher), and now these people. I don't think either are really anti-government. I guess anytime someone has a beef with the government, they will get this label now. It's kind of like calling someone racist when facts fail you.
So, I'm just starting to wonder... How many people will be celebrating the new year in Times Square tomorrow? Not making any predictions, but that could turn interesting. |
