Kind of neat, but it's very similar to the pump in my pressure washer. Some innovative twists though. I wonder how they achieve a good seal between the cylinder and the "head"? That seems obviously problematic. |

Dukes been around a while. I'm not buying stock in the company. ( I could be wrong ) At least it isn't one of the million scotch yoke designs. It's a design used in pumps for a long time. I've yet to see a commercial success. Here's a site where the fellow not only makes pretty CAD drawings, he's built some of them. I don't see one that would work better than existing systems, and a few are horrible drag/wear problems waiting to happen, but clever.
