Making the argument that the Illegal Invasion of the United States of America is caused by Congress is specious.

Obama does not negotiate. Period. President Reagan and President Clinton did not control Congress but both masterfully accomplished agreements which led to legislation on their desks.

Look at this most foolish pResident. In addition to refuse to negotiate, he subverts the law and his oath of office. The bottom line is that it is impossible for Congress to trust Obama. Where is the incentive for Congress to act? Digging deeper, the Senate is controlled by Reid who has mental problems. The House is blocked by the Senate.

Lastly, why waste billions of dollars to make the problem worse? The FIRST priority is to use that money to build a wall to secure the border. Everything else is secondary. Those kids need to go home.

At this point, anyone who still supports Obama after mountains and years of evidence is either:

1) Getting free stuff from Obama.
2) Hates America and supports his un-Constitutional behavior.
3) Or Is a Fool.

Sorry I can't be more polite at this point but those who can not see are more than blind.

Thank you Tom very well said,

Suggested reading for all whom follow this thread,
America: Imagine a World without Her by Dinesh D'Souza (Jun 2, 2014) }

My take so far.....

D'Souza takes a reasoned and reasonable approach to may of the issues that divide "progressives" and "conservatives" He provides a fresh an unbiased perspective on the subject matter. To those of you who feel that the president and various "progressive institutions" are doing their jobs this will be an interesting insight into the divisions between various groups.

DSouza delves into Allinski, Racism, Social engineering, and the like From the perspective of an Immigrant dealing in historical facts to make his points.

He presents the Facts for both sides of an issue, then makes his argument.

Garry, What do YOU think should be in an immigration reform bill. Why can we not simply enforce current immigration laws? Curious minds would like to know.

Bill Gates has now decided to be active in politics, and is a major player in education. Common Core to be precise, and his wanting cheap labor is no surprise.

Signs of a more productive attitude in Washington — which passage of a well-designed immigration bill would provide....

I agree we need immigration law reform.

It's probably even a good thing to let Bill Gates import cheap skilled labor, and I'm happy to share my nation with productive folk that want to be here legally, so I'm all for taking a good, PUBLIC look at fixing the racist Immigration laws foisted upon us by folk like Ted Kennedy and every other Congresscritter that got a bribe from people who want cheap labor, or had an agenda.

Simply, IM not so HO we need to make it easier to come here legally, and harder to come here illegally. Simple. Hard, perhaps, but simple.

First we have to streamline and make smarter the legal ways to come here, and eliminate the Racism. Rational health, criminal, and political reasons to deny access to America must be decided, and Enforced.

Decisions to encourage good, smart, productive prospective Citizens must be made.

Millions of people have been patiently waiting in line to go through the insane, racist, overstaffed, yet overburdened Immigration system.

You are screwing every one of them when you let a criminal trespasser live in your home and eat at your table. ( figuratively )

I bet, however, that the bills mentioned above were the usual crap where a good idea is up front, and bad results are in the second paragraph..... through the last.

What Barry & company are doing is illegal, immoral, and is causing a massive amount of pain, suffering, slavery, and death.

And that's just the people that want to come here to be more free.

It's a major victory for Crime, from lone operators to major organized crime.

Which describes this Administration.

I work with a LOT of people with HB-4 visas and green cards. They are highly trained, technical people who provide a lot of value to the United States of America. They get treated like dirt by the hiring companies, lawyers, and the government. We should be bending over backward to help them become citizens.

On the other hand, the flood across the Rio Grande is composed of uneducated people who are initially suited to digging ditches and will only drain our limited resources. America is already chock full of Americans who are only qualified to dig ditches but refuse to. Illegals can and must be turned back at the border.

However, this is a political problem of the Democrat Party attempting to subvert America into nation of subservience to the ruling class... namely the Democrats.

Democrats were for slavery in the 19th century.
Democrats were for economic slavery in the 20th century (Jim Crow).
Democrats want Orwellian powers over the proletariat in the 21st century.

Think about it, Liberals.

You continue to struggle with basic logic Fred.

You can be a political opponent.
You can be a criminal.
You can be a political opponent *and* a criminal.
You can be a political opponent and *not* be a criminal.

We are limiting the requests for jail time to those who violated the law.

Or are you suddenly being repentant for advocating Scooter Libby serve jail time for Dick Armitrage's carelessness?

Which party wants to tax the rich?

garryb,

If you applied logic and reason, you would understand that you are asking the wrong question. What is vastly more important is who wants to tax the Middle Class? That is where the real money is until the Middle Class is destroyed by envious people like yourself.

I will join you in demolishing the IRS and replace the income tax with an outgoing tax such as a consumption tax.

"We are limiting the requests for jail time to those who violated the law."

Ok, many here are calling those in the present administration 'criminal' (Court, Aesquire, etc.). Why isn't anyone pressing charges? If they are proven to have committed crimes, they should be jailed.

Referring to your opponents as criminal is getting a little boring, not to mention, stupid. Try to be a little more creative.

We are trying Fred, but when the IRS and the DOJ has been turned into a weapon of a political party, and the media is complicit with the agenda through a combination of naive idealism and failures to grasp basic physics, it is hard.

Which is the real reason this stuff bothers me emotionally. Once individual rights and the rule of law falls apart, the eventual outcome is always the death of many many good people. I don't want it to get to that point.

I didn't vote for Obama, but I could have lived with him if his policies were honestly represented, fairly voted on to be implemented, fairly vetted by the media, and were funded by current collections (as opposed to stealing from our children's future earnings).

If, at this stage, you cannot honestly admit that Obama is incompetent (among many other things) ... then you are not capable of making honest, objective observations and are nothing more than a mindless drone.

Maybe you should ask yourself why the vast majority of the country has come to this conclusion, even calling him the worst President ever, but yet you still bow to his every word.
