I really thought Erik and team would be coming out with an electric bike in the near future, certainly before rusty, crusty ol' Willy G would ever consider such a thing.
Check this - Buell had been working on an electric bike, in fact the guy heading up the project is now a co-owner of Zero MC - http://www.zeromotorcycles.com/
They actually did it! I am impressed. I hope it performs well. It's not the facade i would have chosen, but i can't say it looks bad. especially considering who it's coming from.
For The Black Widow aka Natasha Romanoff, played by Scarlett Johansson.
While I don't care for the politics of most actors, they have to be especially stupid, like Matt Damon, to get me to not watch a movie they are in.... and Scarlett Johansson, is hot enough as Natasha Romanoff that I can always turn the sound off...
I thought she stole the show in the 1st Avengers movie. ( although most credit The Hulk with the best line )
You consider - Buell was designing an electric motorcycle - in charge - the same guy who designed the Blast and is now head engineer and co-owner of Zero Electric Motorcycles - and then how can you not see the obvious style and design notes. They would have a lot more respect if they had done it on their own and not just blatantly stole from others. EZ
Alright, the cynic in me is starting to see through the facade. I wonder how much of a kickback HD got (and from who) for producing an electric motorcycle. That seems the most probable cause for all of this.
Still yet, I hope some day, we'll all be able to roll around on superbikes that cost 1.4 cents per mile.
Brammo and Zero are actually selling real motorcycles to real people. Right now, Mission is just "vaporware" unless you're a racer. I put them in the same category as MotoCszysz (or however he spells his name).
A quiet motorcycle???? That won't interest the straight pipe type. You know...the ones that want to make as much noise as humanly and mechanically as possible.
That was my thought. I can't see the dealerships being interested in selling a bike where they couldn't scrap the stock exhaust and install something louder and flashier before the owner even takes delivery. That's money out the window!
