is this the beginning of the end for the Obama administration and current U.S. foreign policy on his watch?
Heck NO! He has no plans at all, at all, to change his policies or leave office willingly.
Better question is "will the Obama Administration's foreign policy lead to mass death and disaster on his watch?" ( so far, yes )
I'm beginning to believe Barry blames everything on anyone else. I can't say if he has evil intent, ( I think he does, but why? ) or is incompetently arrogant to a degree not seen since Neville Chamberlain, but I'm convinced HE thinks he's doing a GREAT job.
Hey, while you all are making your one millionth post Thailand had a coup d'etat.
Our foreign secretary William Vague has condemned the military, demanding a return to democracy.
He went on to say, "leave these matters to the professionals like ourselves and the Americans, and how we have done it in Ukraine you bloody amateurs".
Soros is there; search 'Open Society' - he needs his head on a platter somewhere.
you should really READ his rhetoric - it is long winded blow hard crap - but unfortunately - he has the money to fund it. for how well it works - check out Romania and Hungry and their currency devaluation before the change to the Euro .... and the millions he made off that fait accompli
they rolled APCs through Kharkov last nite, they have blown a bridge in Lugansk, surrounded the town, cut off all travel in or out of the city, and have imposed curfews.... the rumor is they will be going house to house looking for 'terrorists, separtists, russians'.....
you know - the good democratic things that Washington wants to do ; this is their test bed to see how much resistance they get.
Ukrainians have a good supply of guns - as they are avid hunters and outdoors men, and even have marksmanship classes in elementary school.
somebody - alot of somebodies - are gonna get dead this weekend.
Don't take the statement as me being a denier. I like a lot of things you've posted in the past year and change. Yet based on some of your previous posts, it sounds to me like you are trying to head down the path of expatriated mercenary ("proposals out, bags packed"). Which, if true, sounds fvcking radical. Can't wait for the memoir.
I 'know of a guy' who has been striking deals with Mexican 'autodefensa' groups in hopes of becoming a soldier of fortune south of the border. Had I the appropriate training, I can't say I wouldn't do the same for the right price (though I might take exception with being paid mostly by monies obtained from illicit drug trade).
Whatever your course of action, be safe. Report often.

This is being reported on RT News. They've also shown some pretty convincing footage of the helicopter attacks on the Ukrainian military roadblock where numerous were killed. A soldier is shown calling his command asking why his helicopters are firing at them. He says there's dead bodies everywhere. It appears they fired on their own, mistake or otherwise.

nice name calling blake, always knew you were a standup guy.
I can't help it that Brian makes it sound like he is part of Seal Team Six or something "two weeks to sticks that go boom two weeks after that, on ground I will post once when I am there and then dark that will be the end of it total EMCON
>>>I can't help it that Brian makes it sound like he is part of Seal Team Six or something
I'm not suggesting anyone offer anything. But, as someone who has been familiar with Brian and his activites for the better part of 10 years. . . I'd simply say that I'm in no position to discount anything.
I've had . . . . like the time 3 months ago when I met an old man who told me he "invented the personal computer" . . . too many amazing things happen in my life.
It was . . . in fact . . . the very topic of the speech I flew away last weekend to delver to 10,000 folks.
Some folks here do things other than Badweb . . . among their number are some pretty interesting folks. I know fighter jet pilots, sea captains and a badwebber who's bought two >$!M boats the last year and is sailing around the world in one of them, financing it with rental income from the other.
He . . . of course . . . would be summarily labeled a liar here in this day and age.
Better yet . . . I know a badwebber who holds some interesting patents that made him millions . . . he's never said a word about it or spent beyond about a $40k a year income.
Ya just don't know and many folks handle not knowing but throwing stones.
I've been flat out called a liar before, right to my face. Funny thing is that I was holding back on the extent of the truth to make it more believable. It wasn't a matter of telling a story to make myself look good, but trying to make someone else see what is possible. Some people just don't want to see possibilities. It hold you responsible for your own failures.
Is Brian full of BS? I have no way of saying. He seems consistently well informed in some areas to be all BS. I haven't seen any actual proof of BS. Accusations though, are easy to make.
'Brian makes it sound like he is one of the expendables or something silly like that'
You mean the 'Invincibles' ?... hop over to the ObamaCare thread - yes; being stuck in an insurance job when you are used to things much more satisfying is tedious and dull - but you find a way through it; and discover - it is the same corporate battle, just without the ammo.
Insurance isn't as much a bunch of boring accountants as you think.
The money laundering, financial gambling, factorial derivatives of Insurance and Big Finance have led to more than one global conflict.
So, cataract, any ideals or opinions of current events?
Or do you have only one purpose in your entire life? If so, consider one that does the community good instead of anger at a guy who may be in Korea, Ukraine, Botswana, or Pittsburgh. ( like anyone except him cares )
Russia announces it's ready for the next wave of ineffective sanctions.
Whilst everyone is busy condemning Russia, this is what the real people of Ukraine are fighting against, and why they believe Russia is better placed to keep them safe.
I'd ask most of my American friends to get a clue. Sadly they won't hear much said against their current administration on this matter (love or hate O and his gang) as it's still seen as a blight on America (no matter who's running the show).
Here's another 12 minutes if you've the time and stomach for this stuff.
Most don't give a shite (except for some of the loose wheels on this site who wish to bash Obama no matter the topic).
I got that thanks Fred, lol
I still don't believe I'm wasting my time here. Perhaps if / when things backfire for the U.S. my efforts here will have been vindicated. Or more importantly perhaps, Putin / Russia will be.
That said, I doubt the U.S. dropping a nuke on Ukraine would be met with much sympathy at all by many Americans. Not because you're an unsympathetic bunch, but because you're fed a lot of shite and mislead. That's why I contribute here. To enlighten even just a few of you
We don't have a soul in office who has a clue about foreign policy. The things they've touched, they've fkkked up . . . their legend "red lines" are the laughing stock of leaders around the world.
It was fun to watch Hlllary's Deputy Secretary respond to that "just name one accomplishment during her tenure as Secretary of State" challenge . . .the gal tried, tried hard and finally, after blubbering endlessly surrendered.
Putin has a free reign as far as the USA is concerned.
