It's an act of defiance against the gunman for firing in the air is what it look like to me. I don't believe for a moment the civilian expected to get shot. Watch the footage around 17 sec. Whilst the civilian is advancing on the gunman, the gunman steps toward the civilian and appears to poke him in the belly with the gun. It is then that the civilian appears to try grab the gun. Whatever is going on those with guns should not be firing them at all. That is the only point here! I suspect the civilians, and not just the shot one, not only believe same but expect it also. Why were they shooting anyway, and WTF were they doing there in the first place? Those civilians had turned up to vote in peace. Is it stupid to protest and defy an opposing force? I see it simply as a mob trying to overtake a small group of armed men. Those first few folk (including the shot guy) were encroaching on the soldiers. That was not so smart and only can lead to violence or death/injury. Intentional provocation, not a peaceful protest. The voting, according to the Government of the country in which they all live.., is not valid. Ukraine government has said repeatedly to disarm and evacuate the government buildings. It is better for everyone if they do. Have another vote. Then another vote a few years later. Relax and have some Ukrainian barbecue. | ||
