A buddy had one and preferred his 500 Pantah for track days, less abrupt power. Offered me a ride on it, but I had a beer or two at the time and passed it up. |

While such a bike has some romanticism associated with it and rings nostalgic for many of us, with 80's suspension and engine technology it would not be something I'd be seeking out...but if you're gonna do it, do it big...

Those old 2 smokes were something else. Court has a good story about a ride on a Gamma. I agree with his experience. A friend from Canada comes down on occasion and always brings a couple of his bikes. If a RZ or a Gamma were animals, they would be velociraptors. Fierce, raw, and deadly. |
