I hope James recovers faster and more completely than they expect. Hang in there, you two are in my prayers. |

James walked out of the hospital yesterday. He is wearing a neck and body brace but he walked out. He's still on a lot of meds for pain control and will be for a while. James still has a long road ahead of him that includes a lot of physical and occupational therapy. I recovered the bike a couple of days after the accident. The GS used to have a full fairing but that's all gone. The front forks pretty much have a 30 degree bend in them now. Really everything in front of the steering head is pretty much gone, really kind of smeared off. Behind the steering head with the exception of the plastics, the damage isn't that bad. Frame looks ok and other than from when it was on it's side, the engine/trans is not leaking oil. I do believe it would run. Not sure if we'll put her back together or sell her as a project bike. Does anyone have a good recomendation for a picture format program. If I can reduce the size of some photos, I'll post pics of the bike. Thanks to everyone for the prayers and good wishes. |

Glad to hear he's out. Does anyone have a good recomendation for a picture format program. If I can reduce the size of some photos, I'll post pics of the bike. I like irfanview: http://www.irfanview.com It lets you set maximum file size and saves pic accordingly. |
