I'm trying to build a bluetooth adapter for ECMDroid. I bought a cheap Kootek bluetooth slave from Amazon along with a Cp2102 UART Bridge. I'm using CoolTerm on my Mac. I can see that the CP2102 works when I link the rx and tx lines but when I try to send AT commands to the bluetooth module I get no response. Any ideas? Or do you know of a good forum I could take this question to? |

¿Que? I'm thinking that even if I sit up on my roof, this is still going to go over my head. Interesting stuff nonetheless. |

It's actually pretty simple. My biggest problem was that I read that race ecms were supposed to communicate at a different speed than stock ecms, but turns out mine uses the same as stock. So maybe that was only later race ecms (my bike is an 02) for XBs and stuff? So if you have a stock ecm you don't really even need to configure anything since most serial bluetooth modules come with the correct baud rate by default. I'll try to post a step by step in the next week or so including configuration stuff for those that are interested. Ben |
