Forecast looks promising but you know how that goes. Taking the Uly, only two wheel transport that I have. That is unless it is really dumping out there, then I might wuss out and four wheel it to see who shows up. ADK is next weekend, the way things are going I may get in plenty of rain riding then (hope not). |

I guess so Crusty, haha. The main deterrent for me is lack of good rain gear at this point. The forecast isn't looking as bad though so at this point, barring a major shift in the forecast, I'm planning on going. Seeya all in 12 hours! |

Dave, I put a side route on the NJ site just in case. Depends on what time you reach that point. Hope to see everyone there for lunch. |

Unfortunately I'm out. My wife doesn't want to chance riding in the rain so we're off to a shorter ride around here. Have fun boys. |

Heading out momentarily. I got delayed on my oil change earlier this morning, so I may have to slab it there to make it in time. |

I think Crusty cursed me when he asked if Yamaha riders are afraid of the rain... I took I-84 back into NY to grab the Taconic back north. I got caught in a torrential downpour near Danbury, so that got me soaked to the bone, but luckily it was decently warm out. Then around the time I was just beginning to dry out, I hit another on the Taconic. I thought I was sailing for a minute on that one... it was raining so hard that I couldn't see my front wheel, and at one point I think it was hailing. Water was flowing in the road at a decent clip. Was a bit chilly after that one until I got back up near Albany. Still a good outing though! Can't wait until next weekend |

I headed down to New London and got there just in time to catch the 4:00 ferry to Orient Point. Took a nap, and when I woke up, the sky was overcast, the temperature dropped about 15 degrees and it was raining. Rode in and out of showers the rest of the way home. Good thing I wore the Aerostich suit after all. Great seeing everyone. What's next, the Dinosaur BBQ in Stamford?? |

What's next, the Dinosaur BBQ in Stamford?? Sounds good to me! I haven't been to any Dinosaur location since last year, and I've never been to the one in Stamford. When would be a good time and date for everyone? |

Wanted to check in yesterday but my internet wasn't working right. Anyhow, it was great to see everyone that made it, also good to see more than one Buell in this state. Was a little concerned for some of you guys when I saw the dark clouds west and northwest, sounds like Baf got dumped on the worst. Oh well, see ya at the ADK. Dino in Stamford? Didn't know there was one. Sounds good, how about June sometime? |

Apparently there IS a new Dino in Stamford. Don't know how long it's been there but it hasn't been long. It's on Canal street, surprising to me cause I used to live within walking distance in the old yale lock manufacturing plant. Cool place, remind me to tell you about it sometime |

Just looked at a street view, that's only a couple of blocks south of O&G's dock. I know how to get there. Looks like plenty of parking, too. Let's do it. |

I'll let someone else come up with the day and time. We should probably start a new thread, though, so people know it's a new event. |

Understood. Wish I could be there! Be sure to look up Mary Hagstrand at the Fort William Henry restaurant and tell her I say "Hello." I'll see her during Americade. |

Let's give it a couple of weeks, then somebody can start a thread about it. I looked on the Dinosaur's site; there are now 8 locations. Wow. They emphasize that Quality is a priority, so hopefully, they'll all be as good as the original was and is. Maybe a ride out to Buffalo would be fun later on this summer. Stop in Syracuse for lunch on the way out, then a stop in Rochester for lunch on the way home. That might be overdoing it a bit, but it does give me something to think about. |
