Have any of you guys gone to see it? I heard it won some Academy awards so it should be good. I plan on going to go see it tonight. |

Are there explosions? Beautiful vistas like the best cowboy films? Mind blowing special effects? If not I wait for cable. Next theater showing I see will probably be Captain America. Looks interesting though. I enjoy a well made historical. flick so please let us know. |

Read it, good story but style of writing was hard to get through. |

It must be better than the Monuments Men at least surely? never have I seen such a star studded cast make a great story into such a poor production |

Watched it recently on a flight to Kuwait (from Orlando). I watched it again on the return flight from Abu Dhabi. I wouldn't have watched it twice if it wasn't good once. DO NOT watch the Robert Redford flick "All Is Lost". Time in your life you will never get back. |

Yeah, I quite liked it also. Certainly worthy of the awards it garnered. |

Am I the only one thinking "12 Years a Slave" was a biopic on Erik's relationship with Harley-Davidson ? ? ? |
