The latest addition to the black rifle collection. Mossberg MVP Patrol Rifle 5.56mms. It's got a Burris C4 3x-9x-40mm optic sitting on top. The first shot is in its factory configuration. The shots after are in its MDT LSS Chassis. Which I'm really liking lots. I'm still not done, have a few things left to do. On the way, Odin extended mag release, Troy ambi mag release, 0.5" Magpul cheek riser and a Fortis Shift angled foregrip. It's a great shooter, sub MOA out of the box which was very surprising. And that was using 55gr FMJ rounds. Still haven't run any 62gr or larger yet. Soon hopefully. And lastly, the MVP side by side with the first AR15 I built a few months ago. Which was uber fun to build and didn't turn out too bad, for my first AR build. (Message edited by pdxs3t on March 30, 2014) |

That is sweet. My boy wanted his Bushmaster carbon AR left all black but I had to break up my Stag with some OD Green. Bought the little girl a S&W AR 15-22 in pink & black camo. MM (Message edited by Mighty Mouse on March 30, 2014) |

Scope, bi-pod, and more short factory mags; then I would have called it a day. |

I've been thinking about the Mossberg MVP but was interested in a longer barrel than the patrol version. Still, beautiful gun and I am looking forward to hearing your impressions after some more trigger time. One question ... have you tried pmags with it and how do they cycle? Do they drop free? Any issues? |
