Even if there are others out there.. (that we meet) how long do you really think the friendship will last?? Take a look around this world at us earthlings... I don't think it is impossible, just unlikely that there are others out there "like-us". But, they will probably be vegan... and try to force that lifestyle upon us. And it would really suck if they were all big ugly bugs. |

I'd prefer to think that if there is a "they" out there, they look like Seven of nine. But they aren't the raging communist collective known to Starfleet as "Borg". Yes, I used to be a trekkie, in my younger years. |

Even if there are others out there.. (that we meet) how long do you really think the friendship will last?? It's entirely possible, possibly likely, that by the time one civilization recognizes that there is another civilization in the universe, that they have already run their course and are now extinct. Even if that's not the case, communication will be intolerably slow, unless we find a way around the speed of light. To wait generations to see if they even respond to the first "ping" just seems unworkable. I'd prefer to think that if there is a "they" out there, they look like Seven of nine. But they aren't the raging communist collective known to Starfleet as "Borg". I blame seven of nine for our current situation. Anyone catch her on Helix? She got her head severed and is now stored in the frozen Arctic! |

What did Seven ever do to you? I know what she did to me, in that skin-tight, silver outfit. |

What did Seven ever do to you? She was involved in a smear campaign against her ex, Jack Ryan when he was running for senate against BO here in Illinois. Ryan dropped his senate bid to avoid dragging their kids through the mud, giving BO his easy win and launching him into national politics. Still turned on? |

Wait a minute, didn't Jack Ryan become president after that Japanese nut crashed a plane into the Capitol building?

As for Jeri Ryan, I have no idea. As a 10 or 12 year old, the idea of googling actresses never crossed my mind. She only existed to me as Seven of Nine. And God bless her for it. |

I have to admit that the fantasy of Seven of Nine was nice. The realities of getting f***ed by Jeri Ryan, not so much. |

But, they will probably be vegan... No, predators. The brain requires a lot of energy and the most efficient way to acquire those calories without devoting an exorbitant amount of time is to consume meat. It's theorized that if man had spent all his time foraging for food our brains wouldn't have evolved |

Hmmm... I wonder which they will enjoy better ... vegans, vegetarians or carnivores... |

The vegans will be easier to catch. |

Vegans are bland. Only good for salads. Sifo, Jeri Ryan would probably kill me. Worth it. Same with Jolene Blalock. An Alien. Soooooo worth it. |
