You are doubly blessed with both a beautiful wife and a beautiful daughter. You have no idea of the unexpected joys you will experience as Victoria Ann grows up. You will be deluged by moments that will be so incredibly sublime that you won't be able to find the words to even remotely express how you feel. As your daughter grows, you'll think, "This is the best it's going to get" only to have that experience eclipsed repeatedly by new joys. I speak from my own experiences as my daughter grew from an infant to a beautiful young woman with her own husband. Congratulations! | ||

Congratulations Mallott family. It's been years since my daughter's birth, and a few more since my son's, but that beautiful photo brought back all the feelings I had that day. The joy, the anxiety for the future, and the realization that it isnt "all about me" anymore (and that it never really was). Family and friends new and old are why are we are here. Thanks everyone! It's been a sleepless and exciting 4 days. I've been farted, puked, and sneezed on. I've had a fresh diaper pooped in just as I was putting it under her. I've lost hearing from sponge bathing her. And I cherish every second. I'm glad I waited for kids (partially, wish I had more years before the earth calls me back), for I have patience and appreciation my youth forbid. Just for kicks, I started up the Ultra underneath her (basement vs. nursery), and she slept right through. She's from my heart This is from Saturday. Such a good looking gal!  | ||

The one thing I remember vividly from changing my son shortly after he was born is that you have to learn how to do it one handed. You need the other hand to act as a shield for when he starts to pee as you're changing him. It was amazing how far that little guy could pee and if you weren't paying attention it could get messy. | ||

Thank you for the outpouring of well wishes! She is still doing fine. She has gained a pound just in 4 weeks, so her cheeks are getting a bit full. No personality yet, but I bet with her genes, we will be in for quite a character!     |
