Apparently IIS7 (2008R2) "forgot" all about how it was hosting that site. I got the main page back up, but the menus don't work. It seems to not understand .shtml and the page framework. I think originally (14 years ago) there was an application setting on the page. PM me here or josh at high way ride dot com I can trade Reddit upvotes, a follow on Twitter, LinkedIn endorsements... Thanks |

I haven't messed with .shmtl much. But I think this is how you would do it: http://www.iis.net/configreference/system.webserve r/serversideinclude |

Sweet! Seems to be working. 'Course that kind of implies the top menu hasn't been working since I put it on this "server" which was several years ago. How the times change! It used to be a dedicated Compaq 3000 rackmount server, then a VM on a PowerEdge 2900 server, now it's one of several resources on a VM hosted by VMware Workstation8 on a HP minitower desktop machine. Thanks Reepicheep |

I jumped on a remote box and tried again and its looking fine? maybe a cache issue on your end? If not I'll take back all the nice things I said about Reepicheep. |

Thank you so much for the efforts. Really really great to see the site working again. That said, I did have to trawl a little through Google search to realise where I needed to get to. Being no techy, it looks like the frame orientation on the page could be a little out too. Thanks again. Will spend time on Team Elves remembering great times, great people, and a great part of the world. Rocket in England |

Pretty cool Josh. I get all the links to work but there seem to be some missing pictures.. The frames come up blank. |

Yeah, I saw that but haven't looked yet. I ought to swap it all into a WordPress format. Where's Henrik when I need him? |

Josh, our man caves look nothing like, yet there are things in your cave I share with you. You have some interesting trinkets about the place. Is that a 916 bronze I see on the shelf? And what is the framed poster of the bike taking off from the carrier? Evel? Rocket in England |

Rest of the pics The Teamelves server is on the floor of the closet and doesn't rate a picture! The glass is a keepsake, not used for drinks! Nice catch tho. Rocket, I think the bronze is supposed to be a "sport bike" (ie not licensed) but the back 2/3 is definitely stolen from a 916. The fairing however is more generic and not nearly as cool as a 916. There is a 1/18? 916 on the shelf, plus an S1 racebike and a VR1000. The bike on the carrier is a signed print of an Eric Herrmann painting of a Corbin Warbird taking off from a carrier. Scavenger hunt! How many copies of "25 Years of Buell" do I have? (Message edited by josh_ on February 08, 2014) |

Is that the rare promotion model of the S1 spoken of on BadWeB years ago Josh? Pic? I can't see it to identify it with certainty from your pics. Rocket in England |

It is, I believe, a rare S1 model and I heard of it on BadWeb years ago. It's a race bike and says Avon Tyres on the tank. (why can't they spell that right?) I've got the original box somewhere. Maybe not the best way to post a pic here but it works! Three copies together, check. Just to the right, past Lee Parks, Reg Pridmore and Keith Code's books is another copy.
