Well, now it's official. We now have documents showing that the White House was told Benghazi was a terrorist attack and not a response to a YouTube video. That means that pResident POS purposely lied to the American people, providing cover for the terrorists during a time that we are officially at war with them. Honestly, impeachment is the minimum that should be done to the POS.
I really don't remember, was Shrillary part of pushing the video thing, or did she simply testify to Congress that it doesn't make any difference?
ALL Americans should be outraged by the crimes of Obama who has now done worse things than Nixon. Let us put this criminal in jail for his crimes against the American People. JOIN us. SPEAK up.
he has been doing a grand job of gutting the Strategic Missile Commanders; Nearly a dozen of them have been relieved of duty under his watch. ..... why?
I have my spidey tingly feelings on it - but most will say that I am only being paranoid....
Respect must be earned. Obama is a very successful politician who has been voted into the highest office of the land. ( that means you won a popularity contest. That, in itself, commands respect in some circles. )
Of course, you can't believe anything an Iranian official says. It's a theocracy with a thin veneer of a republic hiding the dictatorship. They are often bombastic and crow with joy about how they are feared and kicking our butts, for the domestic market no matter what's really going on.
In fact I disagree strongly with the General's statement..“The US has also failed in the military aspect in any country against which it has waged a war, including Iraq and Afghanistan,” he said.
We defeated the most powerful army in the region in Iraq so fast that the Iraqi's were claiming to have defeated us while you could hear US Tank guns wiping out the remnants of the Republican Guard in the capitol itself.
The Taliban was defeated by local forces backed up by Special Forces ( etc. ) guys on horseback. ( and b-52's used as close air support, and a naval task force, and Marines, and the U.S. Army .....)
I'll skip a rant on how the occupation went & why. Just scream & throw things for a minute, and you get the gist.
I do agree with the General on He said that the talks proved that the West was unwilling to confront Iran: “Given their weakness in the military dimension, they have opted for the political arena and we will certainly succeed in this area too.” and may well share his opinion on our current leadership.
Also both of us know Joe Biden is always wrong.
But don't believe anything an Iranian official says is still a good rule of thumb.
"And I’ve got a phone that allows me to convene Americans from every walk of life, nonprofits, businesses, the private sector, universities, to try to bring more and more Americans together around what i think is a unifying theme; making sure that this is a country where if you work hard, you can make it."
It's great to know he cares so much about the success of those who work hard for a living. And to think, all this time, I thought he was just another Robin Hood, robbing from the rich to give to the poor.
And by rich, I mean those barely above poverty level who work their asses off. And by poor, I mean illegal aliens and apathetic losers who are proud to "work the system". Rob, however, I mean quite literally.
Robin Hood didn't steal from the rich. He stole from the tax collectors on their way back to the castle and returned the money to the overtaxed populace.
Too bad there isn't a group of people working to keep Washington from stealing from the taxpayer. Oh wait...the often denigrated tea party is doing exactly that. Or trying to anyway. It's tough to do with all the weak kneed spineless asshats running the Republican party.
I went to a local Tea Party pub night last night. Bottom line, they are growing their ranks FAST! Many of the established "Republicans" have taken notice and are trying to fight against them, at least in the Republic of Illinois. They have been meeting monthly and they said that last meeting was standing room only with over 250 people packed into the room. They had set up enough tables to accommodate about 180. That's huge growth all of a sudden.
It's often said "which candidate would you like to sit and have a beer with". Last night I actually got to do exactly that with a couple of candidates. Pretty cool to talk to them in that sort of atmosphere. This wasn't a town hall event. This was a casual event where me and a friend had about 10 minutes of face to face time with a Senate candidate sitting at our table. I had some time with a House candidate too. Pretty cool seeing politics happen on this level. No cameras, no microphones, no podiums, no speeches. Just talking to normal folks. It's very encouraging to see in this age where it's so easy to simply spam your message out in various electronic media.
It's also interesting, our Tea Party groups doesn't endorse any candidates. All are welcome to come and get their message out to the folks. Even Democrats are welcome.
Anyone who believes that Benghazi is a "phony scandal" is an uninformed fool or an informed hater. Obama and Hillary have to stand tall against the Man. What a disgrace having a pResident abandoning brave Americans to fly to Vegas to get money. Impeachment and conviction is too good for this tin horn dictator.
New Declassified Docs Expose Obama's Benghazi Lies What the president likely knew -- and when he knew it. By Arnold Ahlert · Jan. 15, 2014
excerpts:
quote:
Newly declassified documents reveal that high-ranking members of the Obama administration were aware that the September 11, 2012 assault on the American consulate in Benghazi was a “terrorist attack” only minutes after the battle began.
quote:
Another infuriating fact revealed by the documents regards a FAST team of Marines in Rota, Spain. They were apparently forced to deplane and change out of their uniforms before flying to Libya. “When we got people down do you really have – do you really actually let somebody push the military around and say, well, you are in the wrong uniform,” Chaffetz asked in disbelief. “Is that really a reason to delay the FAST team coming in to protect Americans, that they are not wearing a t-shirt?”
quote:
Nothing should surprise anyone with regard to Benghazi anymore. Not the administration's wholesale lying about a video. Not the callousness of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who wondered aloud in congressional testimony, “what difference at this point does it make?” regarding the how and why of the attack. Not the equal amount of callousness demonstrated by a president who handed off responsibility for the operations to Panetta and Dempsey, and promptly disappeared, even as he showed up at a Las Vegas fundraiser the next day with his oft-repeated campaign slogan that was also a lie: “A day after 9/11, we are reminded that a new tower rises above the New York skyline, but al Qaeda is on the path to defeat and bin Laden is dead,” Obama told the audience.
That would be the same al Qaeda that, according to CNN, “appears to control more territory in the Arab world than it has done at any time in its history.”
quote:
The can be no doubt any longer what the president knew and when he knew it. On September 11, 2012 four Americans were killed in a terrorist attack. The president was aware of that reality shortly after 5 p.m. EST, even as a drone flew over the battlefield relaying video in real time. And despite all the lying, and incompetence, not a single person has been fired or held accountable, nor has even one member of the media asked the president where he was between the time he left Panetta and Dempsey, and boarded a plan for the fundraiser in Las Vegas.
Last Sunday, former Defense Secretary Robert Gates may have inadvertently given America some insight in that regard. He was describing Obama with regard to Afghanistan. “As I write in the book, it was this absence of passion, this absence of a conviction of the importance of success that disturbed me,” Gates said.
Americans might ask themselves whether that lack of compassion and absence of conviction extended to Benghazi.
Or perhaps former Carter campaign worker Pat Caddell had it right at an Accuracy in Media conference in June of 2012, when he lambasted the media and their unrelenting efforts to cover for Obama. “If a President of either party – I don't care whether it was Jimmy Carter or Bill Clinton or George Bush or Ronald Reagan or George H. W. Bush – had a terrorist incident, and got on an airplane after saying something, and flown off to a fundraiser in Las Vegas, they would have been crucified!” he declared.

The American People finally have an issue affecting them that they will pay attention to. It is a documented fact that Obama lied about Obamacare and by the 2014 Election Day, up to 100 million people will have had their medical policies canceled and replaced with redistributive higher premiums and deductibles while losing the family doctor.
Vote every one of these bast*rds out of office and force Congress to abide by the laws that they foist on the American People.
Obama is quacking like a Lame Duck only five months into his second term. It appears to be sticking so he should take another remedial vacation.
Although I have a deep interest in American and Global politics, I came to the conclusion about six months ago that it wasn't really for me to comment on your politics, and that my ego was in need of some discipline.
With my interest in collecting tubers growing, "Old School Buell" has been my destination lately. One of the guys was having trouble with his X1, and somebody made a comment "btw if you don't have a shop manual you need to get one.."
I still stop in on the political threads from time to time and have a quick read. A book that could be construed a 'political shop manual' might be Dispatch of Merchants by William L. Avery, A.M, available here at http://famguardian.org/Subjects/Taxes/Articles/Dis patchOfMerchants.htm
Seems to me the agenda is working perfectly and that it is the expectations of the people that is misplaced. Expecting a party "representative" to Re-Present your interests in the House to fix anything on your behalf is like expecting satisfaction from a bike ride whereby I ride your bike while you stay home.
Dwight Eisenhower and JFK warned the American people in speeches of what was to come.
In case it's not on the radar in America, take a look at TPP (Trans Pacific Partnership), and remember that Vietnam, for all intents and purposes, is run and controlled by China.
The shill Rachel Madcow and many others with their hidden agendas will vehemently disagree, but nullification sounds increasingly good.
We're in big-time trouble in this country right now, made worse by the fact that SO many people still don't see the clear and present danger we're in.
I've all but stopped posting on the political threads - anyone who is still blind to the revolution that is taking place in D.C. is either an idiot, or a traitor, and in either case there's nothing that I, or you, or anyone else can say that will change that.
We've had corrupt "leaders" in the White House before, both Democrat and Republican, but the present administration is absolutely breathtaking in this regard, and the power they exert over our media is staggering.
I will never give up, but I have a hard time seeing how our Republic can survive such corruption. Barackula promised a fundamental transformation of this country, and so far it's the only promise he's kept.

I disagree with Ron White and you.... you CAN fix stupid. It takes a lot of time and love though but I fervently believe some people will eventually realize and admit that their core philosophy is wrong and hurts their fellow Americans. I am living proof of my statement.
Reagan is chiming in at an opportune time for this discussion. Oops, the ProgLibs here seem to have lost their voice.
Our Clueless President By Michael Reagan · Jan. 16, 2014
Let me get this straight.
For five years Barrack Obama has been president.
For five years he's demonstrated – with amazing consistency – that he has no clue what we need to get out of the ditch and back on the road to real economic recovery.
He's repeatedly demonstrated that he can't work with a divided Congress and he can't, or just plain won't, lean on Harry Reid to allow the Senate to vote on the stack of jobs bills that has been sent over by the House.
The president clearly has learned nothing on the job. And now our multi-clueless commander in chief is so frustrated that he's not getting his way with Congress, he's starting to issue decrees like some tin-pot socialist South American dictator.
That's what Obama did this week when he called on Congress to pass his latest list of tried-and-not-true ideas for resurrecting the economy.
If Congress didn't enact his pet policies – a federal minimum wage hike, another unemployment insurance extension, funding for universal preschool, etc. – the president decreed, he was going to wield his executive super-powers.
“I've got a pen and I've got a phone,” he bragged, “I can use that pen to sign executive orders and take executive action and administrative actions that move the ball forward.”
Trouble is, the president is one of the few guys on the field who doesn't realize that the ball he wants to move forward has been out of air for almost a century.
The most powerful leader on the planet still doesn't get it when it comes to economic policy – and obviously never will.
He still thinks like a naive 20-something community organizer from South Chicago who has never had to meet a payroll or raise a dime of capital.
He still believes in the 1930s New Deal myth that it's the government that creates prosperity and growth, not free-market capitalism.
And he still doesn't understand that it is lower tax rates, federal spending cuts and less government regulation that encourage businesses to expand, create jobs and hire people.
In Obama-Think, passing a law to jack up the minimum wage, extending unemployment insurance for six months and throwing billions in subsidies at shaky solar companies are considered magical ways to stimulate a sluggish economy and create jobs.
In the real world, as we've seen for the last five years, it works the opposite way.
When one political party passes laws making it more costly for businesses to hire humans, companies learn to streamline and get by with fewer humans or hire humans in foreign lands. Can you spell Obamacare?
When jobs become too costly, they get destroyed and they never come back – by the millions. Can you count a record 92 million people not participating in the workforce?
The only way our slow boat to permanent economic stagnation is going to be turned around is if we return to the economic policies of the 1980s and 1990s.
That's when a pair of economically savvy presidents named Reagan and Clinton made sure tax and regulatory policies did not cripple the ability of capitalism to create economic growth, prosperity and jobs.
It doesn't matter how many lightly taxed and lightly regulated “Promise Zones” President Obama sets up in North Carolina or Texas with a wave of his mighty pen.
The whole country needs to be turned into a permanent “Promise Zone.” But that's never going to happen as long as we have someone in the White House who doesn't appreciate or like the free market and doesn't know the difference between capitalism and cronyism.
I disagree with Ron White and you.... you CAN fix stupid.
I agree...but only to a point. We're five years into Barackula. Anyone who still supports the guy at this point is un-fixable, either out of terminal stupidity, or terminal corruption.
The time has passed, IMO, to educate the masses. Plenty of blind people have opened their eyes in the past five years and now see the man and his minions for who they really are.
And yet...he's still the frikkin' president, still living like a rock star, and still spending our money like it's going out of style.
Which it very well may be.
I have no further energy to educate. The idiots and traitors who still believe in "hope and change" are well beyond hope and change. My energy is now being focused on different goals.
