In my previous posts I've tried to be open minded. I had no evidence about what happened in the moments before the first video, and could not see the action around the RR.
It now seems that the action around the RR was violent assault and property damage, and the drive away was a panic reaction in response to real danger. The rest of the first video shows no aggressive or violent action on the part of the RR driver.
The "gang" claims the action was started before the video, by the RR driver, who "drove erratically" and threw a plastic bottle out of his car.
I think he was chosen either by profiling or because he was calling 911, but that's just a guess on my part.
Let's skip the "driving erratically" bit. Pot, Kettle, duh. If, and I doubt this, the RR driver threw a plastic bottle, the "gang's" response was vigilante in nature, and not justifiable. Calling the police on the RR driver would be. No sign of that, so the "gang" gets full credit for being criminally stupid, as well as criminal.
I then have to agree with Tim.
If that had been me in the RR, there would have been a trail of shredded plastic, metal and flesh until they ran away, or I arrived in the parking lot of the nearest State Trooper station, and then circled the parking lot until the gang ran away or the police came out and drove them off. ( scraping bikes into the Trooper's cars in the lot, btw )
I recently saw WWZ. I'll leave a review for Zombie movie fans to do, but my overwhelming thought was "I don't own enough ammo, and I can't carry enough ammo".
The same thing is true with the mass assault by these "bikers". But a car or truck? Needs no reloading, and is a far more deadly weapon than anything I can legally carry without a Federal Permit, and since the action took place in a "gun free zone", the most dangerous weapon involved is the mind of the drivers. The RR is just the tool.
Those ^*(^*%$))*^&%(&^$##() got off lightly. I suspect many of us would have raised the average IQ of the town in a way the poor assault victim in the RR did not.
Also. IF someone had died in the course of this assault, the "gang" would have been guilty of murder in NY. Yes, in NY, if you rob a gas station, and one of your gang gets killed, ( even run over by a train while running away ) YOU are guilty of murder.
I feel the need for three more AK's, a BUNCH more ammo, 5 45 round magazines for the AKs, Saiga 12s for the 12 gauge shotguns, and FN57s for the handguns. Plenty of firepower...
I saw the purge the other night... it was ok... best part was Lena Headey but even she couldn't get me to give it more than 3 stars (out of 5) She was fantastic in Dredd.
Well... was it my imagination or did it seem like many parts of the script in Purge (mostly the crazy wacko lines from the crazy wacko purge people) were derived from a far left liberals' idea of what someone in the far right might say?? I could sware Tim Robbins or Susan Sarandon had something to do with this movie. haha.
