I don't believe a word that nasty lying hag utters. She continues to lie and oppose the unanimous verdict in the Zimmerman trial. She ought to be in prison. |

Ok, I was willing to believe the defendant was crazy and the bad guy. Now that THAT lawyer has spoken, I very seriously doubt it. I stand with my above statement on warning shots. It's a sarcastic way to put it, but it's still good sense. I'm not calling for an "if the blade is drawn it must taste blood" kind of ethos, I'm saying that if you have to use deadly force to defend yourself, use deadly force. If pulling out a weapon stops the confrontation, Great! Hope the attacker walks away and you don't get hammered for "brandishing". Shooting holes in the walls is just dumb. You should get charged with assault. The 20 year thing is utterly bogus. ( do I believe Corey? not so much. ) |

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/353895/justi ce-trayvon-concealed-carry-permits-andrew-cline See, I'm not the only one who knows the truth about the D's and their more than century long quest to make sure their former property is disarmed. http://www.nationalreview.com/article/353854/stand -your-ground-stand-your-ground-charles-c-w-cooke Now, I live in a run away state. ( not even at the top of the list of why folk run away from the state, although infringing gun laws are ) Unless I'm trapped in my home by violent criminals who knock down my door in a home invasion, ( and in this area it's about a 50/50 chance that those people will have body armor, masks, and machine guns ) I'm supposed to make a reasonable effort to defuse the situation and get away. This makes perfect sense, until you remember that the corpses of those that flee have the wounds in the back. But this war is not an open one. I'm unlikely to be run down by cavalry while retreating from the firing line. It's even uncommon to be run over by a car ( unless it's a young Jihadi college student, or a torqued off ex ) since the drive by shooting is far more popular, at least locally. Getting shot in the back, or killed after handing over the cash from the register is far more likely. Besides, SYG has nothing to do with the attack on your liberty by Obama and Holder. It's an attack on your liberty, because tyrants fear peasants. There are more of us, and in the US, the peasants are the last line of defense against tyrants. It's in the Constitution, We are the militia. |

http://freebeacon.com/christie-signs-10-gun-bills- into-law/ I've vowed never to live in NJ since they decided to tax project cars. ( also taxes nearly as high as where I live now, and worse drivers, which takes some doing ) Background checks on private guns sales? Um. No. First, I don't know how to do it, it's not my job to enforce bad and unconstitutional laws, and it's my duty as a citizen not to. Second, it will in no way reduce crime. The local case of a Christmas massacre-suicide was a fellow already forbidden, because he was a CONVICTED felon, to own firearms. He got a neighbor, a young lady, to buy them for him, and that case is in a lengthy and slow trial. She is being prosecuted. ( he's dead by his own hand, the coward, after murdering his own mother, setting fire to a house to attract the FD and shooting Firemen and Police ) So exactly what part of a redundant and intrusive law am I supposed to find any merit to? Forbid guns to people on the Terrorist Watch List? Gee, doesn't that sound rational, and wise? Except they don't let citizens have access to the list. There is no way to know if you are on it, or petition/go to court to get off it, and experience with THIS administration shows that abuse of power is rampant. ( in the biblical AND Heraldic sense ) Secret list, secret law = tyranny. IIRC I have a duty to resist THAT too. ( both in an oath to uphold the Constitution, and religious grounds ) ( from a different thread here ) The fellow knocked down by police for daring to film them abusing his right to free speech? Since he had an anti-Obama sign, is HE now on the terrorist watch list? Be forbidden to have a gun? Fly on an airliner? Will he have the IRS audit him? Deny him medical treatment? Sound paranoid and crazy? I wish it was. |

What happened to be Christie? He used to be a good Conservative. Now he is just slightly right of a Liberal. Maybe he has had a few too many Obama photo ops. Also, a Government list not viewable to the public that bans gun ownership and has swelled from 420K to over 900K in just two years should scare everyone. |

http://dailycaller.com/2013/08/22/hope-and-change- obamas-organizing-for-action-drags-out-columbine-f or-gun-control/ Obamalogic. Bad guys break the law. So we need new laws for the bad guys to ignore. The fact that the proposed laws will violate your rights, even though they insist they will not? That's just the lies of the redneck, racist, ignorant types who foolishly don't believe in the benevolence of the One. So we'll sic the IRS on them using NSA data collection. Then we'll deny them healthcare. I admit, it's a little more subtle than the gulag and slave labor for those who disagree with the Ones In Power. A little. |

The latest: http://thehill.com/blogs/regwatch/pending-regs/318 133-white-house-reviewing-draft-gun-control-rule Obummer is now attacking gun trusts. They are being demonized and misrepresented as some sort of evil loophole. A guntrust is an additional hoop to jump through for counties where the chief LEO refuses to sign off on any class 3's (which in itself is unconstitutional and abuse of their position). For others it's a way to insure that their class three item goes to another qualified individual in case of death or disability and to insure legality among those with access to the item. It's an additional step not a loophole. The ignorance of their campaign, whether real or feigned, is staggering. |

http://www.pjtv.com/?cmd=mpg&mpid=80 What is the Future of the American Family? the relevant comment is that the 2 most important changes to the lives of women are.... 1. Birth Control 2. Guns Before Guns, war was fought by men with good upper body strength. Xena notwithstanding, wielding a sword is work. I know. It's a hobby of mine, and I teach women how to use a sword. It's hard work. ( think about football with baseball bats. Now forget the ball, and make it for keeps. That's what the real thing is like. Only harder. ) Guns changed that for the weak and women. No longer can the strong guy just kill you, steal your stuff and rape the women. That was the pattern for the ENTIRE history of the planet until just a few hundred years ago, and even more directly, the last 200. God made man. Sam Colt made man equal. ( also made women equal, for the FIRST TIME EVER ) The repeating fire arm lets a 90lb teen girl fight back against rapists and murderers 3 times her size. THAT has only been possible for 200 years. Rick_a, the people writing these laws to screw you know very well that there is no loophole. They lie. Leftists, lie, as a matter of course, since the basis for the ideology/religion they follow is a lie. Righties lie too, but it's not the basis for their faith. ( it may be self delusion, ambition, or simple evil, but it's not the core of the ideology ) The Brady center to exploit a crippled guy ( formerly Handgun Control Inc. ) and the other anti- Constitutional groups have a simple goal. Power. If you have it, they don't. If you can defend yourself against a mugger, you can defend yourself against THEM. and that just ruins all the plans to exploit the masses. It's really that simple, and that evil. |

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/357877/guns- against-tyranny-lily-tang-williams I tried so hard to come to the U.S. for personal freedom, including the freedom guaranteed by the Second Amendment: the right to keep and bear arms, which makes me feel like a free person, not a slave. I felt empowered when I finally held my own gun. For the first time in my life, I truly knew I was free. I think the Founding Fathers of this country were very wise. They put that in the Constitution because they knew that a government could become either powerful or weak and that the citizens’ last defense is the ability to bear arms to protect themselves against tyranny and criminals. The guns are not just for sports, hunting, and collecting; it is our fundamental right to bear arms and use them for our self-defense. Having previously lived under a tyranny, it seems clear to me that the U.S. government is going to try to infringe my Second Amendment right. What happened in China could happen in America. If the government can tell us what arms to bear, where to bear them, and how many shots you need to use to defend yourself, we might just become slaves. America is the land of the free and the last hope for human freedom. Do not give up. We have to be united and fight back for the sake of our children and grandchildren. Thank you. |

Yes, you were defeated no matter how many millions Bloomberg gave you to destroy the Constitution. Yes, you were the first lawmaker in Colorado, ever, to be recalled with a 101 year old law, written for this moment, when you took money from a rich guy to screw the people that hired you. and you will always lie about that, to us, to the press, and to yourself. Thank you Colorado. Unfortunately, the only recall elections we can have in New York are like in Egypt. |

Thank you Colorado. +1,000,000. Debbie Wassername says it wasn't the will of the people, however:
quote:The recall elections in Colorado were defined by the vast array of obstacles that special interests threw in the way of voters for the purpose of reversing the will of the legislature and the people. This was voter suppression, pure and simple. Source: http://www.democrats.org/news/press/dnc_chair_debb ie_wasserman_schultzs_statement_on_colorado_recall _election_r
This one has to sting where the sun doesn't shine. It must also chafe the Dems that the majority of Colorado's Sheriffs are on record as saying they will not enforce any new federal firearm regulations. I understand there are some Sheriffs in New York saying the same thing? In her screed, Deb manages to blame the NRA and those nasty, nasty Koch brothers, too. Geez, what is it with all us pesky peons who actually believe in the Constitution? Molon Labe, babe. |

In Norcross, Georgia yesterday, I saw a motorcyclist getting a ticket while wearing a pistol. He was never asked to hand over his gun. He may have been asked to show a permit, but I wasn't close enough to hear. What I do know is he never took his gun off during the exchange of paperwork. Good on the Norcross PD for doing their jobs properly. |

Nearly half of concealed carry training in NY is how to interface with police without freaking them out....... and how to handle it when they do. The magic word is "procedure". When pulled over, one politely and as non threateningly as possible explains that one is armed and ask the nice policemen "what procedure would you like to use?". "procedure" is cop-speak and offers comfort in a situation where the world is upside down ( an ARMED CITIZEN!!!! ) and panic is to be avoided. Cops with normal IQ and some experience in the field, simply ask to see all the paperwork, tell you to keep your pants on, and check it all out with their connection to Big Sis. Tickets or warnings are issued per SOP and life goes on. Some get rather antsy and confused because the threat environment suddenly changes in their heads, and I can usually calm them down with a very polite, non snarky ( that part almost kills me ) comment about how much paperwork taking me in and dealing with a CCW case will be, and maybe we should go get lunch before the ordeal. Taking a gun off during a traffic stop is the option of the policeman, not the citizen. Smart, experienced cops don't consider armed citizens to be a threat. Some of the more indoctrinated ones nearly freak out, so caution is a must. ( I consider that a side effect of poor training and leftist ideological propaganda...... like the DHS warnings against "patriots" or "citizens", both feared and hated by the Aristocracy ) Think of it as approaching a vary large dog. Don't startle it and you really improve the odds of getting away with no problems. |

Nearly half of concealed carry training in NY is how to interface with police without freaking them out....... and how to handle it when they do. With concealed carry coming to Illinois, Chicago has basically stated that their officers have been trained to shoot someone with a gun. You've been warned! Of course if they ever actually did this in the bad neighborhoods, they could be shooting thugs pretty much daily. Of course, they manage to avoid that by avoiding those neighborhoods. Personally, I'll just continue to avoid Chicago as much as possible. |

Don't confuse the revolution with facts. Only when the unreconstructed bourgeois are finally crushed can the Proletariat be triumphant! And by Triumphant, I mean totally enslaved by their rightful masters. But first they have to get the guns away from those "citizens" who have this distressing habit of defending themselves and believing in freedom. Aren't we just annoying? Is it ANY surprise that those who are big fans of the Party of the Klan and the neo-com Progressives are seriously racist liars? The idiots at the State dept. have for years suffered from "mirroring" ( believing that others have the exact same motivations and beliefs as you do, no matter what they say so they constantly refuse to believe that some people just want to kill you and steal your stuff. "why?" they ask, "would anyone want that?". Well simply it's so you won't stop them while they steal peoples stuff. Moron. ( usually with multiple degrees from Harvard, but still a moron ) So the leftists suffer from "Transference". Since the entire belief system is based on lies, any anger, any wrongness, must be the fault of "the other". The other of course being the unrepentant capitalist pigs that oppose the utopia promised, but never delivered by the collectivist goals. So when senator X is accusing the other guys, and you, of being racist and hateful, it's all about what he feels inside. It's become an institutionalized response to opposition. Congressmen Y cheats on his taxes? He accuses his opponent of same. etc. Why? Because the Lie is the Faith. It's all based on deception and misdirection. Read their damn manuals. When Planned Parenthood's founder started on her quest to eliminate the "lesser races" by offering easy abortion, especially to the hated Negros, she knew she had to lie to push the agenda. That's how you get so many willing to slaughter their own children. It's been sold as a right, not a tragedy. ( Full disclosure, I'm pro abortion. I consider it Darwinian ) Throw in the ongoing and very successful effort to destroy the Black Family and eliminate Christianity as a touchstone in the inner city, Ms. Sanger's legacy now kills about 300,000 each year. Hitler would have been proud. Disarming the Blacks, of course, was, is and ever will be the goal of the racist D party, and the real historical reason the NRA is so hated. It sucks to get all drunk and go to have a nice lynching when they shoot back. |
