There was another Buell guy there... I was an FWC Officer assigned to the Patrol Vessel "Guardian" at the time. We were assigned as security for the sinking of the Mighty O. I was able to board her while she was still at the dock. We were not allowed below the hanger deck, but I got to see pretty much everything from that deck up. Then I had a front row seat to her sinking. There is a pretty good close up of the "Gaurdian" from 35:01 to 35:10 and again from 36:03 to 35:07. | ||
