They don't normally work when you just paste them either, that is why you need to check the "Automatically activate URLs in message" box at the bottom. When you do that, it runs a script to convert them to functional links. When you do it in a edit, you don't have that box, so you can't force the script to run. In that case you would have to manually make the link, you would have to use the \newurl or \link commands. Er thanks Frogs, I would have said that too obviously, if I'd had any notion of what most of that means. I'm just glad that there are folk like your good self to understand it for me. |

Where is the cupholder and cigarette lighter supposed to go now? I really admire the march of progress but I really want to see a more pedestrian offering for the general mouth breathing public like myself. Some 450cc dual purpose thing or some liquid cooled touring bike that weighs less than 500 pounds. One thing I could actually go for is some ultralight type of thing like a 250cc that weighs less than 200 pounds. |
