About 10 yrs ago, a (now ex) G/F bought me a Vanson Buell leather jacket. Black/Grey with 'BUELL' letters stitched on the right arm and Pegasus symbol on right shoulder. Am sure many here either have or have seen the same. I like the Pegasus but only tolerated the 'BUELL' letters. - Has anyone remove sewn in patches in leather jackets? - What, if any, leather conditioning methods work to either eliminate or at least recondition the leather to reduce the visibility of the sewing holes? If I can live with the letters, am sure I can do the same for the holes. - Am confident that there will be 'BUELL' letters discolored areas due to weathering. So what are, if any, leather reconditioning methods to eliminate this? May be even re-dye? Thnx for any help. |

contact the manufacturer - Vanson (i have the same one) they're freaking awesome and can fix a lot of stuff! (from what the sales lady told me during my purchase of a full suit and other racers have had modifications done to existing suits) |

You will have stitch marks. I just sold my exact jacket as yours for this reason. I bought a Tourmaster Coaster 3 and its quality is right there with the Vanson. https://www.tourmaster.com/xcart/product.php?produ ctid=381&cat=1 |
