If anyone's interested, Pirelli just announced a pretty cool promo. Buy a rear Pirelli Angel GT and get a free front for $25 shipping: http://www.getpirelli.com/agt/ |

Thanks for posting this. I just bought an Angel GT rear from Competition Accessories for $163 delivered to my house. The front will cost $25.00 (S&H); so I'll have a set of new Pirellis for the sum of $188. That's a Deal! |

Snagged one! Thanks. I was going to go for PR3's, but at less than $200 for the pair, you can't beat that with a stick. |

Just checked the link you provided, and got this: "Our Promotion allotment of 250 tires has depleted. Thank you for your interest, please check back for future promotions." Looks like I'm outta luck! |

If you need cheap tires, I got this off another forum: Thought I would pass along that Motorcycle Superstore has the Dunlop Roadsmart on sale for $99 for 160 or 170 60 17. These are not the Roadsmart II but the old version. The one I received had a manufacture date of 43rd week of 2011 but that should be fine. They also have the 120 70 17 for $89. Guess they're trying to clear them out. If you have a Tuber, the 170 is the right size for the rear and the 120 is the right size for the front. that's $168 for a set of tires. Continental Conti Motions are also a good deal. You can get them from a few different places on the web for about the same price. |

This thread started the day after I ordered my tires from a local shop. Dunlop Q2's, so far very happy. It seems like it has quicker turn in, but that could just be because the back isn't flat in the middle anymore.... Will report back after a few more hundred miles. |
