OK, youn's got me up past bedtime... Here's one for shits and giggles... http://knoxville.craigslist.org/mcy/3882492624.htm l Ummm, wow- this one IS pretty dang rare, just found it now online... http://knoxville.craigslist.org/mcy/3863783313.htm l Hmmm. Someone local had a CB750 Nighthawk, latter year model, SUPER clean, as of yesterday. Must've sold. UJM's started with that bike. If we'd not had EPA reg's shutting down 2smokes in the late 70's, wonder what we'd have since then? Bonus points: What was the LAST street legal 2stroke street MC sold in the US? What was the FIRST production MC sold with water-cooling? I get bored looking for interesting bikes nowadays. The Barber museum is a great thing... gotta try to make Vintage Days this year. |

How about the 2008 Honda Varadero? By far one of the best bike I've ever owned. |

Best UJM? Easy. The mid 70s CB500 (ish. 450-550) . They made a crap load of them. Simple, durable, plentiful. The 1969 CB750 defined what a Japanese motorcycle could be. It was a landmark motorcycle. The CB500s evolved from that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_CB750 |

Part of me wants one of these for a travel sled, I noticed that there are still '11s listed yet no other years? If Fatty had not sprung those 1125's when he did I was looking one of these and I still want one for 2 up and long trips I am putting hard luggage on my'25 but it seems almost "a sin" to do so Bbob is that the Oe faring? |

Jim, The Bandit used to come in 2 versions, a naked & the "S" model. The "S" came with the fairing. The windscreen is a Zero Gravity touring screen. The pic shows it with the smaller set of Givi bags (25 ltrs, I think). I have a 45 liter set of Givi hard bags for when the wife travels with me. I think Suzuki dropped the Bandit from their line-up in '12 or '13... |

What was the FIRST production MC sold with water-cooling? That is a tough one There were Scotts in the 20's, I think. Maybe others before then. If you mean in the US as mfr imported, I would guess Suz GT750. |

Winnah, and Winnah! Yeppers, the RZ350 finished its run here in '85... once had an '84, with the black box troubles, got rid of it. Wish I hadn't... The GT750 was the first mass-produced water-cooled bike, hence its nicknames "Water Buffalo" and "Kettle". Not too long ago, in another thread someone posted a mutant bike, apparently a Katana-ish chassis, with a GT750 motor shoehorned in... WHEEEE!!!! I do miss those 2smokes! |

I thought that, by definition, a "UJM" was an air-cooled, inline four stroke?? |
