Ourdee and I have our camping reservations. Looks like I wont be bringing the xb, it's not done yet. I'm going back to a belt. So I'll be riding the blast, and the S1. I'm sure the S1 hasn't made it back home yet so it should be good. I think I'm going to have to swap transmissions in it first though. It has some worn out shift forks. Anybody able to lead us on a ride after the Mr. and Mrs.two_seasons' Breakfast Bonanza? Matt | ||

This still the rough schedule? I can get the time off easily enough, just trying to sort out where we'll be staying and for how long. Definitely planning on being at the track on Saturday this year if at all possible. Did the trackday in 2010 and had a blast, but I'm looking more into spectating this time, I wore myself out flying around the track at 50 mph last time. | ||

TS garage is still in play. "We" haven't decided if I can ride yet, so that's a TBD. You know what, here is the TS garage secret. I'm fine with tools, mechanical anything intrigues me, but frankly, I'm into learning as much as possible when I'm around you guys. Sure, I get a lot of valuable info off this board from you guys. But what I really eat up is learning from you guys---in person---about what makes these bikes tick, what works and what doesn't. You guys know! You've been there. Dean, I'd say that's a pretty good rough draft. Since breakfast won't be until 8:30 on Friday morning (we have to get the little one's off to school) sunrise early, a morning ride would probably be just the ticket. Alpine to here is less than one hour. I'm looking forward to seeing you all again. | ||

I just copied that from the first page, wanted to clarify what the possible schedule was. I'm thinking (maybe, possibly) that my son and I will be there Thursday night, crash at Alpine and go from there. I doubt we will stay there for the duration though, there's hotels closer to the track that are considerably cheaper. Alpine would run roughly $400 for the 4 nights, then lots of travel back and forth every day riding 2-up. I don't mind it much, but I am getting older and my back has been acting up for the last 2 weeks. I was planning on stopping in at EBR on Friday to pick up some stuff, but that can happen pretty much any time during the day while they're open. Call me weird, but I'd rather pick stuff up from them when I can (400+ mile drive) rather than the dealer that's 30 miles from my house. What's on the menu for Friday morning? I'm normally up by 4:30 am, so I'll be hungry long before then. | ||

I think how breakfast will go is... ...we'll have the scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, fruit, etc. ready before 8:30am. It will stay warm in the oven, so you can get here and munch at your convenience. The one thing I've learned over the last couple of years is there is no schedule when it comes to Badwebbers and what we want/need to do for that day or when here for HC. Don't worry about what time you get here...we'll be here! | ||

Call ahead to EBR about Friday. They may all be at the track. Why we hit the parking lot on thursday morning the last couple of years. Erik meet and greet available at the track. Should be a booth there with EBR merchandise sales. | ||

Steve I hope your doing better. I had kidney and a liver installed last Sept. so I know what you are going through.Last time I was at EBR, Kim said they don't have a retail outlet anymore at the Plant, all internet. I am will to help out anyway I can with anything that is needed.I also have a shop in my garage with a bike hoist if anybody needs to use it. I can also program and reset any software needed. I have EBR race maps for all years up to '07 and custom ones too for free.I fly giant-scale RC planes in the area at a local field,( it is a mile or so from Steve's house) if you want to see a bunch of guy fling 10' wingspan 15H.P stunt planes, it could be a stop for somebody on Thursday or Friday if there is a lag in things to do My 19 yr old son is home from college, so he will be tagging along with his City-X that he begged me not to modify! I was reasonably tame, but there is so much potential there. | ||

Brian, I'm doing OK, but this has really put a damper in my normal routine. I'd be lying if I said I'm even 80% better. Still have a spot that is 92% blocked. I've got ECMspy, many tools, capacity for servicing about 10 bikes (you supply your own fluids and filters), but no lifts or stands. Autozone, Napa, Advanced Auto, Hal's HD close by. And Ducati dealer right down the road. I've not ridden since May 1st. | ||

I can lend my knowledge too if any one needs it. I've worked a little with these bike.  I'll also be bringing a tote with spare parts and tools if anyone has trouble. Nothing worst than going all that way and breaking a $10 part and ruining your vacation. Matt | ||
