To fr;inds and foes the day has come step off my bikes I gave them a way yessterday. I am going blind and my kids convinced me to stop riding. I have had two near mishaops due to my eye sight. Nothing wrong with ugly women, generally they're more grateful, you enjoy them as much as you want.  Sucks about the riding, but you're making the right decision it seems, stay safe & don't be a stranger. | ||

Spent this last weekend down south. I cannot recall seeing one ugly gal. Not one.  The first TSA agent I saw back in Ohare fixed that for me. Kid you not, her uniform musta been stitched together from four more. No way she was going to chase down anyone making a run thru the gate... | ||

Cowboy, I knew a guy in his early 20's that slowly lost his sight due to diabetes. He was a customer at the Honda/Kaw shop I worked at. We figured he would drop the bike off to sell, but no... He taught his girl to ride and added a side car, to his bike. So it don't have to be over if you don't want it to be. Rest assured that God has a new plan for you. Cheers. | ||

Cowboy, when I first started reading this thread I thought there would be a punch line.. I guess there was but not at all what I expected. That is a tough one to swallow. Sounds like it's the right decision and you're at least moderately comfortable with it. Please chime in if you get time, I like many other always enjoyed your straight forward conversations. Brad |
