I have to agree, that was very short on any facts. They basically claim to have achieved the holy grail of battery power. Even assuming that to be true, can it be mass produced and at what price? It could open the door to great new electric all kinds of stuff, or it may prove completely unusable in the real world. I'm certainly not putting my gas bikes up for sale yet.
the article at nature communications appears to have a lot of information. I didn't want to pay to check it out. If anything its a step in a direction(hard to say good or bad yet).
