Nice! I know it's part of the process, but I kinda hate to see the Adirondack chairs and recliners gone on the deck and porch, along with all the quirky plants and decorations... those chairs were mighty fine to slouch into after a hard/long ride, picnic tables will seat more, but just aint comfy! Need more pics of the ENTIRE property! Here's hoping that at LEAST the various bikes left out in the fields, slowly being reclaimed by Ma Earth, were left alone... All in all, happy to see progress with the legend. Hope they mix in a healthy dose of history and nostalgia. |

Squids,I have two of the rockers from the porch and the hand painted "Outhouse" sign that was to the right of the front door on the porch. |

I went by this weekend and the place looks all cleaned up, and a large group of bikers were there. People were hanging out on the porch, it almost looked like it was actually open. I went by a little later, and it was vacant so perhaps those people were just a riding group and they stopped to look around. Anyway, you can actually SEE around the place and it looks pretty good. |

Pwnzor- There was a thread on ADVrider that Bill (the new owner) had asked for people to come out Saturday and help clean up the area around the creek. I didn't see the thread until Saturday or I would have cross-posted here. Looking forward to our next Buell (or first EBR) gathering there. |

Well, the original owner holds the copyright to "Two Wheels Only" and the new owner obviously wanted a name that was similar to the old name so people looking for the place could make the connection. You can't really fault him for that. |

I wish the new owners well, but hope they understand that the charm of the place was all the stuff on the walls, the friendly staff, the "honor system" drinks, and the tackiness of it all. I always loved reading all the stuff written on the various shirts hanging up. My name was on a few. |

Not sure what I think of it just yet... Maybe we shouldn't be trying to see the old place in the new one. The old place was once a new place, and all that character you're missing took time to accumulate. It's a great place to stop and rest, maybe have some lunch and socialize. Let's give the new owners a chance, see how much they will let us dirty it up. Try looking at it with a fresh pair of eyes, as if you stumbled across it for the first time. Personally, I think it looks a lot better now than it did before. I'm still rather partial to Skeenah Creek myself, but this new Two Wheels operation looks very promising to me. |

The new owner,Bill is a serious bike guy who rides a GS and a KTM.He's a rider,I see him every weekend on the bike.He has the resources to make it work and he's doing this because he was a regular at TWO and misses it since it closed. If GT could have kept it,he would have.He was dealing with an owner who had big dollar signs in his eyes and effectively put GT out of business.I saw GT Sunday, understandably he is upset over how he lost the business but he knows and likes Bill and Bill did not cause GT to lost TWO,nor is Bill standing in GT's way of starting a new one. |

The place looks a little bare on the inside but that can change with time. I'd be willing to hang something on the wall as long as it isn't a part of my bike. Skeenah was awesome, and I'd probably stay there again, but I'm glad to see TWO...S open. It's in the perfect location to be a riders' hub in that area. I didn't go to Buelltoberfest this past year for the first time in a long time but I'll likely be back now that there's a central location to meet up and hang out. |

I was there last week. Looks like they put the tables and chairs around the floor. They were all shoved to one side by the fire place. I talked to the manager's, not the owner, and they replaced the floor in the back, outdoor, rest rooms. The floor in the lodge is new. Kitchen looks nice, hope the foods as good! Here some other pics:
New concrete entrance.
Extended deck.
Clean kitchen.
New shower house in the back. Here's a close up:
It's back in the old overflow area. |

Give them a chance and quit expecting it to be exactly like the old. New owner, new ideas. Guy sounds like a true enthusiast and he is trying. Give him good feedback one what is right and what could be improved on. In time, this place will be it's own and people will enjoy it. If you go in expecting the old then you will leave disappointed. If you go in expecting a good time and enjoyable location, then I expect you will leave happy. |

the old was fun... but I am looking forward to the new. That shower house is a huge step in the right direction. |

Could've been a shopping center. Count your blessings that a location friendly to bikes is going to be open and ready. I liked Dale too, but the new folks seem nice enough. I'm willing to give this place a chance. |

I'm going to be happy to support the place. They are doing what looks to be a great job. I will miss the laid back chairs on the porch. I will really miss the old rough entry of the driveway. Always a fun spot to watch. |

... I had the same thought, Vern... the old regular gravel entrance was JUST sketchy enough to quickly separate the noobs from the regulars. Plus, the secondary in/out closer to the main building was also good for fun. What Jeremy said. I'm very happy that a committed individual, a RIDER, with the passion and the wherewithal, has taken the helm of this great property. Along with the greater biker community here in the Southeast, I look forward with great interest to see how TWoS progresses. What if: EBR was the FIRST MC manufacturer to do DEMO DAYS there?!?!? DINDINDING, WINNAH, WINNAH, CHICKEN DINNAHHH!!! One can only hope. |
