F22 The last real Homecoming was 2010 and any info that was released was released on our own web site that was designed for the event and then here of coarse. FB was not a tool we really used much. |

How much longer do we have to wait for all current Buell's to qualify for AHRMA status? Smoke, is there infield parking for the bikes of spectators? |

all current Buells are eligible in AHRMA now. Sound of Thunder is the open modern twin class and Battle of Twins Formula 1, 2 and 3 have different eligibilities for modern twins based on cc and motor type. i haven't attended an AMA race there but have parked motorcycles inside the gates during club racing as a spectator. should be able to ride a bike in during AMA as well. tim |

I could give a crap about the politics here...I am getting Hundreds of questions about homecoming on the Face Book page. 84 alone this weekend. Should I post a link to this thread, Mr. Seasons will not respond to my P.M.s . Is anybody else in charge. Brian |

There's two "Buell Homecoming" Facebook pages I'm aware of, and I'm not a monitor for either one. Just FYI and my observation: https://www.facebook.com/buell.homecoming?fref=pb#!/buell.homecoming https://www.facebook.com/buell.homecoming?fref=pb#!/pages/Buell-Homecoming/581129015247926 The direct links WON'T work, so you'll have to cut and paste the whole link contents. |

Yea I do them both and they are linked, as soon as everybody likes the new page the old one will be closed. I would post a link to this, but there is no info yet. |

I'm a nobody in the crowd. After the 2011 Homecoming, I decided for the 2012 HC to open up my home to those who were interested, as there are some that come many miles. Nothing more than that. We had fun there. Mainly because of my gracious wife Doris. End of story. All I want to do is have some fun with other like minded BadWebbers. I don't have an agenda! Brian, you have a PM...Steve (Message edited by two_seasons on April 01, 2013) |

For the sake of continuity, I'll suggest/request that any info related to HC2013 be centralized here on BadWeb. Posting to Facebook or other places is great. Do it. The more attendees the merrier, but without a central repository for "official" info it leaves the possibility of confusion ("It says THIS here, but THIS there...") I think BadWeb should be (as it has in recent years) the center of information and discussions, and have info here distributed to other social networks. I've got HC t-shirts moving with Whistler, and he's got prior experience, so it's in good hands. When we get closer to HC I'll need a count of tees with sizes for attendees. Sooner is better than later. Cost? TBD, but when I get a figure I'll solicit for a formal count. Agenda: There hasn't ever been a documented agenda that I can remember, but it has typically gone like this: Wednesday: Informal meeting at Gus's for dinner and hanging out as folks arrive in the area . Thursday: Meet at EBR around 10 AM in their parking lot. This has previously been cleared with EBR so we don't surprise them or take up their needed space. Has anyone approached them? We've never been privy to a tour of EBR, so anyone expecting one might be disappointed unless someone steps up and arranges it. Thursday evening has been dinner at Roma's Italian. Friday: Areas rides and (starting last year) gracious hosting by TwoSeasons in the morning. Some then head to Road America for the AMA racing weekend to cheer on EBR. I've stayed at the Alpine Resort and will plan on doing so again. (It hasn't been crowded the last couple of years...at ALL!) Last year they needed at least 15 others to consider a reduced/group rate. Many others camp at the campgrounds (whose name escapes me, so someone fill in the blank!). There. I THINK that summarizes stuff that has been kicked around from the last couple of HCs as well as this year's discussion. How much do we want to duplicate for this year? Two Seasons has already made his place available again on Friday for breakfast. Let the games begin! |

Loose1 and I will probably stay at http://www.countryviewcamp.com/ again this year. They have very nice facilities and are very friendly. |

They did at least one unofficial tour back in 2010, I saw quite a bit, but only got a couple of pics while I was inside. |

I plan on going back to see Doris again this year. Tours of EBR have not been available do to insurance restrictions. Gus's drive in has been an informal hang out the last few years. I like the broasted chicken dinner. 59 DAYS |

Hey Keith (Oldebuellrydr): See the start of this thread for the info you seek. Gus's is an old A&W rootbeer stand that has inside seating. Good basic food. Roma's is an Italian restaurant. I've heard they have good food. Both are located in East Troy, Gus's on the west side and Roma's on the east side. |
