Yeah, it was raining and cold last May 31st. By the way, if you ride in to East Troy, watch your speed. Very active speed control there. I got a speeding ticket that day. First one in 29 years on a motorcycle. So, mind your speed. |

I don't remember being as cold as I was pulling into the factory lot. Cold and heavy, as my leathers had turned into the world's largest chamois. Didn't really warm up until the first bowl of TS chili ! |

Found out Friday that I'll have a somewhat competing business trip. Won't really have all the details until late Monday. But I think I have a plan that can make both happen! 1313 |

I've heard from one of the locals that Mukwonago has it's own pesky speed trap just west of town on County Highway LO. There are some decent twisties on LO. I grew up in Mukwonago in the 50s and 60s. Back then in the age of no seat belts, LO would facilitate Darwin Awards something like once every other year. The awards usually went to folks who were either not wiling or unable to calculate the coefficient of friction applicable to their vehicle, its tires, the road surface. |

Steve, I just recognized the location of your profile picture. You know we are to lazy to search for the pictures. Please, post one of them here. =] |

I've heard from one of the locals that Mukwonago has a speed trap of its own just west of town on County Highway LO along a stretch of road with three race-quality, 35 mph curves. BTW there is a fun series of dips and twisties on LO for most of the seven miles between Mukwonago and Eagleville. I grew up in Mukwonago in the 50s and 60s...a time before seat belts. Back then LO facilitated a Darwin Award something like once every other year. So in the case of LO, mind your speed AND your coefficient of friction. |

Lo was always Hwy 99 until the 90s I am real local, know the roads and good restaurants that cater to bikes There are also 2 or 3 state parks in the area also. If you have any bike issues, I can do anything in my shop-garage.Custom fuel mapping for your bike also..I run both of the Buell Homecoming Face-Book pages and people all what to know time and dates. I know of a great place to have it, perfect for this type of event. Somebody local call me and we can go check it out, Brian 262-470-5300 |

I'm a little far from figuring out if this is something I can make it to this year, but in my searches for track days, I'm seeing Road America on the schedule June 3rd and 4th with Team Pro-Motion. Is this anything that some might tag onto the back end? |

Every year a bunch of us head up to Road America for the races on Sat and Sun. See an earlier post I did within this thread with links for flat track racing too. |

I usually make Sat. At RA. The track day is there for anyone that has time, money, etc. Hard to get people travelling by bike to risk having to rent a uhaul to get home. Watching track day at the farm is free and fun. I live about 15 miles from there. |

Vacation request submitted. Unfortunately we have a big shift bid/staffing change mid May, so I may not have even submitted my request to the right sergeant. Usually run into this sort of thing for the big events it seems... angry sigh. (Message edited by littlebuggles on March 28, 2013) |

M.R Seasons,.I set up the Buell-Homcoming page years ago to contact people that don't Bad-Web. This was done with Eriks and Kim Tordik's blessing and support. There are Buell owners from all over the world that use this site.you are welcome to use any passwords so you can post all info. You can run the whole show! I sent you a P.M about a great place to have a event, but you did not respond. Here is a link to the site:http://kettlemoraineranch.com/ To all the out-of townees, this is minutes from East-Troy and smack-dab in the middle of great roads. I am setting up a event there this fall for 1500+ as a charity fund-raiser, so I am familiar with the costs. you guys take it from here and run with it! If you all are serious about the T-Shirts, I can handle that, but you all should vote on a cool design. I can run it by Kim at EBR to get Eriks input. Ordee, sent you a P.M. |

I've made initial contact with Whistler (AKA EBR Racewear). I've been out of town and just got back and was about to solicit for member design suggestions and switch Rob on to initiate costing, etc. At this time, nobody has submitted any ideas to me, but then again, I've not pressed the issue. It's time to get things moving along. |

May I ask why you would need Kims or Eriks blessing for a Facebook page?? |

I don't need it, I set it up years ago after the last real homecoming. The homecomings have been a bit lacking since. As I am personal friends with Kim and in respect of Erik. (It has his name in it) They both post regularly along with thousands of people all over the world. BadWeb is not Buell, but just a tiny fraction of the big-group. This is sometimes miss-understood by the members here.I personally know way more Buell people (70%+)who have never heard of this place. I can talk to anybody who wants more info about this and you are welcome at my home anytime. We need to all find our common interest and likes, but just being Buell rider makes us all a bit non-mainstream I can give riding tour of all the locations that Buell grew from, even ride the roads he first tested his bikes on. I live about a 1/2 mile from Eriks house and our kids went to school together and hung-out Brian 262-470-5300 |

F22, never received a PM from you! Don't want a lecture either! Regarding t-shirts, I'd like to have BadWeb and EBR mentioned, possibly Hero and Amsoil too. If I remember correctly, t-shirts last year were EBR and about $20. each. Steel, if Whistler is involved, that is perfect. See you guys soon. |
