Hey has anybody been able to contact Ken or Dorothy at Billet2Race? I gave them my money almost a year ago and have gotten nothing but empty promises. Recently I have been politely asking for a refund if they cannot provide the parts I purchased and i still have not been able to get any response. I see the website is down but they are selling parts on EBAY. I have tried to call them, email them and text them with out any response in the recent months. I have almost a years worth of texts and emails stating I'm going to get my parts and I have been very patient as I understand they have been going through a lot over the last 12 months. Now that it is apparent that I will not get my parts all i want is my money back so I can get them else-ware. Has anybody else had any issues contacting them recently? thanks Pete |

I purchased the shifter kit for my S1 from them from ebay. Paid instantly. The first excuse was that their CNC machine broke and waiting on parts for repairs. The 2nd was their computer caught a bug. It took over a month before I finally got my shifter kit. I have not installed it yet because it is still too cold to ride. Overall, the parts looks nice enough but am neutral if everything will fit -- given the purchasing experience with them. Am willing to be generous in that sh1t does happens in business and would like to get the matching brake lever. But... |

I have their shifter and rear brake lever, both are great peices. The Shifter was difficult to install but once completed it works great. My purchase was the Billet carb mount. I got the part but it was designed to work with an S&S intake. I was not informed of this and when I went to install it, it of course did not fit. They said they would correct the issue once I sent back the required parts. Now that he has the parts, for like 8 months now, I don't have my carb mount. Because of the huge delay, they promised me I would receive their new billet puke box kit along with my carb mount. I have not received either. Frustrating! |

I'll throw in my $0.02 as a business owner. I don't know this company, but my experience as a vendor is it's really difficult to wear all the hats that a business requires, price it right the first time, have enough cushion to still make a profit from variables that seem to always go up in price and never down for us. I can appreciate the customer side of things too. Maybe they were/are undercapitalized, leading to problems as noted above. From the parts they do make, they seem top notch. Hopefully they'll be able to get it together and be a vendor that does it right...again. Being in business these days probably isn't any tougher than previous decades. But I can tell you the margins (profit) isn't what it used to be. And for those of us that don't work with the gub'ment, either as a vendor or with our hands out for a stimulus package, it is frustrating sometimes because choices have to be made that favor neither the customer or us. The gub'ment, however, always gets paid! Hope it all works out for you all. |

Dorothy was in a SERIOUS car accident earlier this year. The accident crushed her face and she lost sight in one of her eyes as a result. She also had to have her jaw wired shut. They also moved their shop within the last year. I will contact her and forward her this thread and see if I can get you some resolution. I haven't known them to intentionally screw anyone over, but I know that with the accident and the move of the shop that things were crazy and financially strapped. |

I have mentioned to them before and I still mean this today. I want to spend more money with Billet2Race as they make a great product and they have many more I'd like to purchase. It's not so much that I don't have my parts yet as it is that they have not kept In touch with me. I do need my parts ASAP as my riding season starts pretty much now. I was well aware of the issues that they have been dealing with and I thought I was being patient (8 months or longer). If they cannot for some reason provide the parts, all I want then is a refund and there will be no hard feelings. Maybe at a later date when they get there ducks in order after whatever challenges they are currently fighting, I will gladly try to purchase from them again |

Pete, Dorothy emailed me that she was going to contact you and square this away with you. Please let us know if that happens. We are all interested in your experiences with B2R. |

Well it has been two weeks since the last post here with mild hopes of getting a response from Billet2Race. Unfortunately they still have not tried to contact me even after an email, text and one last message. I guess I'm out my money. Im pretty easy to please, if they just tried to contact me or even told me something about their situation I'd probably be willing to give them more time. With that said, I'm pretty certain they lost my business which is too bad as they have a lot of cool tuber items I was hoping to buy for my bike. Pete |

Are they still posting listings in eBay? I see a few items that keep going back up. If so, that's a darn shame. They have the time to list eBay ads but not respond to a customer that's already paid. Too bad, they had some items I was interested in for my X1. YMMV, Nels |

These people are scum. Bought a shifter, wasted a month waiting for the part. ZERO communication. Finally got a damaged shifter with no instructions, asked for a return label to fix it and they said, "we don't do that." I was fed up with no help from them, filed a partial charge-back (to pay for it to be fixed locally) and then they scammed me by forcing me to pay for the damaged item and repairs that they would not fix by filing a collections after CC company ruled in my favor. Terrible company and vile people! Another funny thing is that Dorothy's tweaker looking boyfriend that produces these told me that they liquidated and oversold the parts to pay for their bills and they were going to make them when they had time. Thus the reason mine was not polished....nice honest customer service eh? From the posts above, looks like they are up to there old tricks and broken promises. NEVER NEVER NEVER PURCHASE FROM BILLET2RACE! There are many other good vendors out there that will take care of you. Seeing the accident, all I can say is, What goes around comes around! :-) (Message edited by ebwhite on June 14, 2013) |
