I know this has been done before, but here is my interpretation. I finished it last night and rode to work today. I'm extremely satisfied. For those of you who have been calling for a new sport touring machine, whaddya think? Cheers, Bob

Looks good! I have two questions for you. Did you put the 1"drop foot rest on and what exhaust system is that? |

Pegs are Uly pieces. The can is a CES Rinehart that I picked up used. I know little about it or it's availability, but it was included in Al's 1125 exhaust shootout. Bob |

Saw the bike yesterday at our annual club (watch Daytona 200) party. Bob did a fantastic job on the conversion. Looks like it came from the Buell factory that way. I would buy one like this from Buell, in a heartbeat. JC |

Looks great Bob, very clean integration of factory and aftermarket parts. Being in a mountain state I always take note of other rider's hand guard/heated grip set-ups. How's that pipe for volume/tone, not too loud for touring? -Mike |

Thanks Mike. As delivered, I felt it was way too loud and would attract the wrong kind of attention, if you know what I mean. I have altered two Barkers 1" baffles and have them in place. Much quieter but I may change inlet size a touch for a little more noise abatement, or I may leave well enough alone, for now, and see what my riding buddies think. Bob |

As far as I know, that is the only one (the pipe) ever made in that design. |

Dean, what might those tabs be just down inside the twin exits on that CES? |

Geedee, If you are speaking of the pieces down in the tubes, those are the spark arresting screens on the Barkers 1" baffles that I altered to fit. Bob |

Hi Lee, I don't have an answer yet about 2up. I only finished it last week and Diane hasn't been on the back with me yet. Bob |
