In years past Thursday was kind of a travel day. We usually just went to Guss',watched RD eat, and hung out. We can do something that afternoon too. I'm always up for a ride. I'll be bringing .5 again. I'm going to try and ride it more this year. Maybe Erik will have time to take it for a spin this time. Matt | ||

I'm glad somebody brought this up. When I stopped in at EBR just after Christmas, Kim had asked me when the next time I would be back up there. I told her Homecoming - as usual. She asked me "When is that? That is something that the owners do." or something along those lines. My reply was "The only thing that makes sense is the Elkhart Lake race weekend." So it will definitely be an enthusiast-driven event again this year. Honestly, based on all that was going on while I was there, I wouldn't expect anything else. What this means is that Homecoming will only be what we make of it. Since it's 2013 I'm hoping it will be a blockbuster Homecoming. In years past Thursday was kind of a travel day. Slight correction: In years past Thursday has been meet up and hang out at EBR day. Sure, we'd end up at Gus's for lunch and Roma's for dinner, but spending the morning at EBR has always been a 'must-do' for me as well as others. I try to get there on Wednesday. I do like the broasted chicken at Gus' Drive In. It's off my diet except during HC. During HC, meeting new and old friends is what makes it for me. We raid EBR on Thur. morning, and Erik has been very generous with his time there. If you get invited to a locals house during HC, don't take it for granted. Some of the best times are had there. Bring any Buell questions you have and there will be plenty of answers. | ||

Bring as many as will fit on your bike. Or in the car/truck pulling a trailer with your bike. Many family friendly activities such as camping, eating, visiting EBR, going to the races, etc. Hopefully we'll have a daily schedule, albeit very loose, that will give an idea of where we might be during the day(s) during homecoming. | ||
