Sorry I wasn't able to chat a bit more when you stopped by our tent, we were just at the tip of the iceberg of a VERY long night of wrenching to get Walt back into the fray.

RD - I think I saw it come thru. I'll verify tonight. Worked 23 hours Saturday and another nine yesterday with 3 hrs sleep in between....I'm a lil wiped out ; )

Not sure about Saturday but Sunday had a few mishaps. Geoff went down early in the Sunday race, I think in turn two. No flags, he walked away but didn't get back on the track. That's about all I know

I just got home this afternoon and have to mention that I didn't get wet (much) at all last week/weekend. I got a little chilled, but that's about it weather-wise. Glad I had the heated grips today!

I have to echo Ourdee's comment about Homecoming feeling like a family reunion. Seeing all the Buell folks again is my ideal road trip. Sitting at Gus's, EBR, Roma's, Two Season's Garage or RA and knowing I'll run into someone to relax with is something I can't even say about my family!

The EBR groupies are getting to be a large group, for sure. I saw a boat-load of EBR shirts, and NOT the freebies. Buell and EBR were represented in all three classes this weekend, so there was someone to watch in every sport bike race!

They announced that the AMA weekend at Road America is May 30-June 1 next year. I plan to do it again. Too bad we weren't quick enough to get those teaser pix of the AX!
