I hope he learns his lesson: Don't enjoy school. School is prison/indoctrination/boot camp. (Can you tell I never much liked school?) |

This is beyond out of control. Back in my day...and I was born in '80...we still played cowboys & INDIANS, yes, *gasp* indians!!!!! how totally not-PC of me....and cops & robbers. Guess what, you can't play either without either forming your hand into a gun or having a fake gun. Yes, at school. My favorite in particular was a quite realistic looking cap gun revolver. |

My little friends and I had a game we called simply "guns". Equipment needed: index fingers "Bang! I got you." "Nope" "yes I did" etc..... What we used to do before paintballs |

Seriously, I wonder what history class is like in schools these days. Most of history class, as I recall it, was about when various wars were fought. What are we to believe these wars were fought with? When a simple picture that has a gun will get a kid in trouble, how can the school hand out books that are literally filled with stories and pictures of people who fought bloody battles? |

Today we are going to talk about World War II - it was when people did not get together and sing Cum bay ya, Questions ?...... Ok - for your homework - what song would you sing if Hitler Stalin and Mussolini were the judges to American Idol? |

From the article; "In the 11 weeks since the massacre, at least two young children in the Washington, D.C. region have been suspended for pointing their fingers like guns, and a 10-year-old in Alexandria, Va., was arrested by policefor showing a toy gun to others on his school bus. In Pennsylvania, a 5-year-old was suspended for talking to classmates about shooting her Hello Kitty gun that blows bubbles." What's the purpose? These aren't "threats." The only argument I can think of is that something that could be confused for a real gun shouldn't be allowed because it could cause a panic. However, can anyone confuse fingers or a poptart for a real gun?? And a girl talking about her toy bubble gun? I can understand if she's talking about playing with dad's Glock, then you might want to have a talk with her and her parents just to be safe. |

Would someone who is supposed to carry a gun, such as a Law Enforcement Officer of some kind, be suspended for painting his gun as a hand? Just wondering. |

This is simple really. By constantly instilling fear in the youth throughout their learning development they are creating the next generation of gun fearing citizens that will support any/all gun removal from our society. You have got to give Progressives credit, they do plan for the long term end game and are playing it quite well I might add. |

Of course you simply make the wrong people interested in what you are demonizing. |

It gets more idiotic. A kid in FLA saw a kid with a REAL gun, with intent to do a shooting, (pointed it at another kid) got in a struggle with the kid - disarmed him - no shots fired..... and was suspended for his involvement in a 'violent' incident. you just cant make this shiat up seriously - wtf are they putting in the water ? http://tinyurl.com/d295s77 |

"If a thing's woth doing, it's worth overdoing." Ayn Rand. Also attributed to Robert Heinlein as said by Lazarus Long, which is where I came across the quote. |

The worst part of that, Cityxslicker, is when that kid is applying for college and has "suspended for an incident where a weapon was presented" on his transcript. If I was him I'd get an extra copy of my transcript to check, if that's on there without any explanation I'd include a news article about the incident with every application. |
