The temperature here in suburban Twin Cities rocketed up to 36F and the streets are dry, so I had to go for a ride. My XB12S sounded great and I got to test the sheepskin saddle pad that Santa brought me. The forecast is for 40F tomorrow, so I might be a repeat offender. | ||

my wife finds this place hilarious. we all do the same things it seems. My 08 had a crank failure in October so all I've been able to do is stand by the door and stare at my baby and remember the good ol days and dream of riding again someday. she says we're motorcycle junkies... i agree. | ||

Looks like Saturday will be the better of the days, I'll be at the farm most of the day. Ann went and got a kidney infection, so she won't be riding, not sure if she's up to farming either. If she stays in town, I'll take the bike, that'd make ride time sometime after noon, once all my chores are done. I'm South, about a half hour or so from Turner's Corner on 129. If she goes, I'll just be riding local. Charlie has found some amazing roads between here and Monroe. Are you going to Rider's Hill? | ||

DANG it! I'm one of the losers without a Buell now...  Oh well. We're gonna see record highs in the low 70's tomorrow, and I got the boat running yesterday, will have 2 friends visiting for the weekend... Might see about a little fishing! Plus, gonna smoke a Boston butt and some chicken! And- the sun JUST came out as I type this! WOOHOO! | ||

Took out my Uly XP this AM. 80+ miles playing in the fog. Two reasons: 1) I put fog lights on her last year. 1st time in real fog today. The lights work well. 2) I purchased a Shoei Multitec modular helmet & this was my first opportunity to actually ride in it. I like it a lot. It fits well, it's noisier than my full face but not in an intrusive way. It fogs easily with the visor in the fully closed position but it's nice to be able to flip the front up @ lights etc'. It was c65f so I am not really a badweatherbiker. I would have gone further but the fog soaked my jeans & I was getting chilled. Later... Chris C | ||

Just did about 250mi on the 1125R today. Felt good and I think it may have reached the 60s. Was riding with a ZX6 and an 1125CR and also seen a XB12S as well! | ||

About to leave, it's 65 right now. Yesterday was awesome! even though I over did the gear a little. Had to stop and de-layer, no such problem today. Y'all ride safe, and have fun, I know I am! | ||

I got in 3 days this past week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. High temps of 50-55, mornings started out at 25-30. Friday was the best though, 65 for the high. | ||

Had a good couple of days on the lake, all day Saturday in shorts and a T-shirt... got windy and a little drizzly Sunday, but we had the windows open until we went to bed last nite! Back to cold and rainy for 2 days here, already got a flood warning for most of the region, craptastic. I'm thankful for the two summer days in January we just had, though! | ||
